Ik vind Heroes 1 van de beste en leukste series ooit (paar maanden geleden nog helemaal overnieuw gekeken op netflix ) dus ik kijk erg uit naar Heroes Reborn. Wel erg jammer dat niet alle hoofdpersonen in de nieuwe serie zitten maar ach, ben in ieder geval blij dat het een soort van vervolg heeft gekregen. Nu nog een vervolg op The 4400 en ik ben tevreden

Blijer dan die kickstarter denk ik. Vond de trailer nou niet bepaald hoge kwaliteit uitstralen (misschien dat iemand dat kan tegenspreken die hem bekeken heeft).

Overigens vind ik het uitgangspunt prima. Beetje opschudden en wat dingen anders doen is wat mij betreft prima, zolang de verhalen zelf maar interessant zijn er er genoeg science in te vinden is (ipv meer fiction of drama om de drama).
Star Trek blijft gewoon een mooie franchise.

Al moet ik eerlijk bekennen dat ik wel wat nieuw en origineels wil zien wat een realistische science-fiction laat zien (zoals Star Trek ooit begonnen is). Als er weer een serie in de toekomst afspeelt is het óf totaal niet geloofwaardig óf beantwoord eigenlijk nooit kernvragen óf het is weer post-apocalyptisch.

Dat is m.i. ook het sterke punt van Star Trek. Allerlei ethische vraagstukken komen voorbij en veel dingen zijn realistisch genoeg om geloofwaardig te zijn.

Ik ben daarom zelf maar met veel plezier begonnen met Star Trek Enterprise. Alleen het laatste seizoen moet ik nog. Zodra er weer een Star Trek-serie wordt aangekondigd kunnen de meeste andere science fictionseries inpakken, denk ik. (Nou geldt dat waarschijnlijk in dezelfde mate voor Star Wars en Stargate.)

Klopt, min of meer.
Er is gesproken over een film die de Atlantis-serie netjes zou afsluiten; net zoals dat ze dit bij SG-1 gedaan hebben met 2 films. (The Ark of Truth en Continuum.) Bij SG-A zou het gaan om Extinction. Deze film is terug in de ijskast beland, evenals een 3e SG-1 film. Voor Stargate Universe had ook een mooie film gepast, maar er is hierover nog minder concreets te vinden, geloof ik. Recentelijk (ergens in de afgelopen 2 a 3 jaar) is er sprake geweest om 3 films te gaan maken. MGM heeft daarover gezegd dat het zou gaan om een reboot van de originele film en zover ik weet niet van mooie eindes of vervolgen van SG-1 / SG-A / SG-U.

Filmplannen
In welk tijdperk de nieuwe serie speelt, zegt Robinson niet. Er waren ooit plannen om een speelfilm te maken die zich afspeelt in de sixties, met Blackadder als onwettig kind van koningin Elizabeth en Robinson als de kale popster Bald Rick. Die plannen gingen niet door na onenigheid tussen de cast en schrijvers Ben Elton en Richard Curtis.

Na het zien van de eerste aflevering vind ik het best een matige serie maar Patrick Stewart maakt het helemaal goed. Deze serie staat per direct boven aan m'n nú nú nú kijken lijst. Nu verder met e02.

Het staat inderdaad helemaal los van de originele serie. Die begint pas een paar maanden later en volgt een groep aan de andere kant van de Verenigde Staten.

S01E01 van Public Morals viel mij erg tegen. Het acteren maakte op mij een "rare" indruk, alsof ze geforceerd hun best deden om hun rol zo goed mogelijk te spelen en de "net niet" scenes toch maar aan elkaar zijn geplakt.

Niet, het speelt zich af rond de tijd van de uitbraak van het virus en is een opzichzelfstaand verhaal.
Ik vond de pilot wel goed. Kwam wat traag op gang maar dat is met meer pilots. Einde smaakte naar meer iig.

Dat had ik ook, het einde liet je wel een beetje balen dat je E02 nog niet hebt. Wel leuk om zo te zien hoe het ontstaat, met zeer incidentele dingen wat meer lijkt op gedonder met junkies (waar het ook echt mee begint), waar steeds meer ellende achterweg komt.

Niet alleen daar, maar ze hadden ook Fast and the Furious uitgezonden, waarbij ze kentekenplaten waren vervangen door "K3-ZKT-K3", en als Dominic Toretto in de auto stapte, en de auto startte, hoorde je K3 door de speakers van de radio .. Beetje triest. SBS6 heeft een zoveelste dieptepunt bereikt. Daarom doen we ook Sonarr en vergelijkbaar gebruiken, zit niet te wachten op dit soort manipulatie van je programma. Bah

Zal de series toevoegen. Ik probeer zo veel mogelijk series erin te plaatsen, maar ik mis soms ook wel dingen . Er zijn zo veel series/zender tegenwoordig...

Ik vond de pilot van Minority Report weer een slap aftreksel van al bestaande series waarbij iemand met een gave (The Mentalist & co) ondersteund wordt door iemand bij de politie. Hier hadden ze meer uit kunnen halen. De film was geweldig. Ik zag op IMDB dat er meer zo over denken.

Ik ben wel zeer benieuwd naar Limitless (ook omdat de film me zo aansprak). Ik vrees alleen dat het ook hier weer tegen gaat vallen. We wachten het af.

Daarnaast even zien wat X-Files gaat worden. Ik vond dit vroeger echt super gaaf om te kijken.
Ik mis overigens nog HBO's Westworld in dit topic die in de planning staat voor 2016.
Ik ben ook benieuwd naar Netflix's Narcos die vanaf vandaag te zien is.

Zag dat Narcos al helemaal is binnengelopen. Hoop dat het zo goed is dat ie in 1x helemaal te bekijken is.

Het verschil is wel, dat ze Bradley Cooper ook in de serie gaan gebruiken om de serie te verweven met de originele film.
