Hallo!
I'm here with my usual race simulation pace charts.
I'm always experimenting with my charts so I've added a couple of new features.
First, the arrows on the left side of the plot represent the median time of each driver. It's the exact time that is shown on the label at the top, but with the arrows you can see how close or how far each driver is from one another.
Second, the histogram on the right side of the plot shows the number of laps done in a 0.250 seconds interval. For example, at the bottom of the histogram you will see that Red Bull had 3 laps times that were between 01:09.250 and 01:09.500. Mercedes posted 4 laps in the same interval, while Williams managed to do one lap in that same bin. The histogram is on a 100% scale, meaning that each bin is independent from the others. Eg, there was only one lap between 1:11.000 and 1:11.250. In this case, that one lap is 100% of that bin. At the bottom bin—between 01:09.250 and 01:09.500— 8 laps were done, which means that 8 laps account for 100% of the data in that bin.
