Gisteren Netflix message dat mijn iPad niet tot mijn household behoort.
Na wat chatten met de helpdesk was het advies:
Netflix: "Oh, in this case, you may need to update household on your Tv every time the IP address changes."
Me: "TV is connected with an Ethernet cable, Netflix app on the TV is not used. We watch with a Shield, also ethernet cable connected."
Netflix: "I'm sorry, unfortunately, Netflix picks up your Tv's internet as the main internet and once we update household on the Tv, we can connect the Ipad to the same internet as the Tv and watch on iPad for 2 minutes."
Shield is connected met Ethernet en iPad niet, en de app kan dan niet de iPad toevoegen aan mijn household.
Netflix: "We need to update household on the Tv and connect the iPad to the same wifi as the Tv and watch on iPad for 2 minutes to make it as a part of household. We need to do this once a month to stay connected on iPad."
Iemand anders ook al gehad dit?
Laatste chat message:
"I'll try it once to see if your explanation is correct, and if so cancel my subscription. You should not use IP only in this situation, my device Id's only change every 5 years or so. Use that as the verification of what my household is. Just to be sure, this new ISP is very popular in the Netherland, you might lose a lot of customers with this bad implementation."
Ach, ik kan het proberen
Netflix: "I understand your concern. I will take this as a feedback and forward to our team . And please follow the above steps so that your issue will be sorted."
