This beta update addresses several regressions from version 2.9.9, enhances Web-Configurator usability, and includes a patch for Apple TV (tvOS Beta 27).

• Fixed an issue where the touch slider was unresponsive when an activity was mapped to a light or cover without a specific feature selected.
• Fixed a UI glitch where the home screen content would overlap with the activity header when the header changed size (e.g., when starting or stopping an activity).

Web-Configurator:

• Fixed an issue where the interface language was reset after reloading the page or switching languages.
• Improved entity state display in the included-entities list to prioritize live states over cached data.
• Improved the stability of paged lists and integration updates to prevent unexpected data resets.
• Fixed an issue where the activities list appeared empty after canceling the "Add new Activity group" dialog.
• Fixed a regression from 2.9.9 where preview feature descriptions were lost when toggling features.
• Fixed add-dialogs to ensure the "Next" button is disabled until a name is entered.

Apple TV:

• Fixed pairing issues with tvOS Beta 27.
• Improved stability when using multiple Apple TV devices.

Added

• Enabled translations for Spanish, Norwegian, Polish, Finnish, and Swedish.
• Included community translation updates. A big thank you to all contributors!

Web-Configurator:

• Added support for closing popups and modals using the ESC key.
• Pre-filled page name fields are now automatically selected on focus for easier editing.
• The interface now displays Bluetooth slot availability and disables the "Add" button when all slots are occupied.
• Added an active state indicator to the "Edit Profile" popup.

Known Issues

• Some Remote 3 devices may experience "ghost touches" after waking up. This is unrelated to display artifacts. If you encounter persistent ghost touches, please contact support.
• WPA3 Wi-Fi security is not yet supported.
• Automatic display brightness and button backlight settings are currently unavailable in the UI and disabled in the Web-Configurator.
• Remote 3: Ambient light sensor sensitivity will be improved in a future firmware update.
• Sonos integration: A recent Sonos firmware update has affected local API access. Power-cycling your Sonos speakers may temporarily resolve connection issues. We are planning to rewrite the Sonos integration using a different API.

Ik zie hier al een tijdje niemand meer reageren in het topic; maar Versie 3 stable komt eraan. Willen we dan nog updates van de beta's van 3 of niet?! Heb het idee dat het amper gelezen wordt.

Het is voor mij wel een trigger dat er een nieuwe versie is

Kijk net iets vaker op Tweakers dan op Discord. Maar ben verder geen reageerder eigenlijk.

Moet wel zeggen dat de laatste updates zeker de WIFI afhandeling ten goede zijn gekomen. Ben nu echt wel tevreden met de AB. Natuurlijk zijn er wat quirks, maar ze zijn in een half jaar heel ver gekomen.

Op het moment is de Beta de meest stable versie voor remote 3.

Op het moment is de Beta de meest stable versie voor remote 3.

Dat was ook exact waarom er destijds mee begonnen is, naast dat er voor v1 geen updates meer uitkwamen. En dan mis je echt veel functionaliteit, eigenlijk alles juist waarvoor je deze remote hebben wilt.

Waarschijnlijk is alleen de updates van de stable v3 posten straks de modus, plus eventueel hele interessante highlights uit de bèta’s.

• Improved WiFi suspend and resume reliability. Validate WiFi link state on resume, a watchdog checks the WiFi controller for invalid state.
• Remote 3: prevent repeated unintended wakeups on 5 GHz networks with "keep Wi‑Fi connected during sleep".
• All new languages are now available in the UI and web-configurator.

Web-Configurator:

• Resolved an issue where the sleep countdown in the UI could drift from the actual device state.
• The prevent sleep now works correctly after reconnection after the device has been asleep and sets a new sleep countdown.
• Fixed restoring the original manufacturer IR code from a custom IR code.

Added

• Dynamic press-and-hold IR repeat support for the internal IR transmitter. This might require further adjustments and is still a preview feature.
• Enabled translations for Portugese.

Web-Configurator:

• A new search field has been added to the Infrared- and External-remotes tabs.
• Added support for navigating the application using only a keyboard, except for the UI editor and drag-and-drop functionality.
• A new license information section is now available in "Settings → General → About".
• Apple TV: Cross-VLAN / network-segment support for discovering devices (mDNS reflector required).
