Beta Release 2.6.12
This patch update fixes the continuous IR repeat feature and updates the Home Assistant integration.
Known issues:
• WiFi high-channels (>11) do not work anymore, we are working on a fix.
• WoWLAN periodically wakes up the device from standby. A support case with the manufacturer is in progress.
• Automatic display brightness and button backlight settings in the UI are not yet working. They are currently disabled in the web-configurator.
• Remote 3: the ambient light sensor sensitivity will be increased with a firmware update.
• Sonos integration: a recent speaker firmware update affects the local device API access. Connection issues might be resolved temporarily by power-cycling the Sonos device(s). We are planning a rewrite of the Sonos integration using a different API.
Fixed
• Continuous IR repeat command is interrupted (#484).
• This also requires an updated Dock firmware release v0.8.0 or newer, which will be released shortly.
• Remote 3: Display initialization adjustment to avoid sporadic interlace effects after wakeup (#561).
• Outdated integration information, new driver metadata was not always refreshed after a driver update.
Web-configurator:
• A newly added key in an IR remote is not immediately available in the UI & button mapping screens and requires a manual refresh.
• Integration setup: the last item in a scroll list is not always selectable depending on screen size.
• Disabling beta updates requires a reboot.
Home Assistant integration:
• The first time setup showed the old server configuration screen and could end up in a configuration loop.
• Initial setup with a wss:// Home Assistant URL or switching from ws to wss doesn't require a reboot anymore.
• The correct integration version is reported without the "-dirty" suffix.
• Only the documented sensor states "ON," "UNAVAILABLE" and "UNKNOWN" are used.
Changed
• Added initial support for a continuous command-repeat feature for external remote-entities usable by all integrations, similar to the continuous IR-repeat feature.
• Updated Home Assistant integration to v0.13.1.
• Updated TLS runtime and certificate validation for better compatibility (#189, integration-home-assistant#73).
• Option to disable TLS certificate validation of HA WebSocket server (integration-home-assistant#71).
• Change binary sensor mapping: use the new "binary" device class, store binary sensor device class in the unit attribute (integration-home-assistant#74).
• Configured entities will automatically migrate by opening the HA integration in the web-configurator.
• Sensor UI screens will be improved in a future update.
• Updated ca-certificates to 20250419.
