My apologies for missing the questions. If there are urgent matters, then the questions can be asked directly at: support@seasonic.com and these will be answered much faster as we do not monitor the many forums available online.
You can spin things all you like and you can disguise all this as speaking on behalf of the community and you can use as many accounts as you wish, it is all ok. Regardless, I still extend to you an invitation to meet in person, face to face, to discuss all the issues you have with Seasonic.
Accusing someone of using multiple accounts is quite a serious allegation, do you have any proof to back this up? I'm a bit shocked you say this on a Seasonic rep account. But that's something the moderators can take a look at. I find the use of wording like 'spin things all you like' and 'disguise all this' to also be quite.. outrageous to be honest.
An issue was brought forth and we tried our best to find a good solution for anyone affected. As well, an article was posted and I asked for it to be removed because I believe the wording could have been made better.
Regardless, we try to do the right thing but I am not sure why we keep getting dragged through the mud. The persistence of the attacks makes me wonder if there is a hidden agenda or motive. Other brands have issues from time to time but don't get the same amount of attention as we do.
There is probably (since I can't speak for others) no hidden agenda or alternative motive. Over the past 34 iterations of this topic in 10 years time, and thousands of replies, every PSU manufacturer has been treated equally here. Every brand has been praised for their good PSU's with recommendations and 'punished' for their less good PSU's, from Corsair to Be Quiet to Seasonic to EVGA to Cooler Master and all of the rest. The-Mask and others have recommended A LOT of Seasonic PSU's here over the years, so I find your hidden agenda comment quite unnecessary and uncalled for.
Seasonic has made a lot of good quality products and your customer care is, in general, great. The Focus series however have some issues and they have been confirmed by both users and your own company. The issues may be small, big or irrelevant - that's up to everyone to decide for themselves. The fact is that you have made changes to the platform to solve this and that's good - there are a bunch of companies that would never take the time to reply here or solve their product issues. So Seasonic is doing a good job there.
The communication around it has however been somewhat lacking in my opinion. You can't blame AMD's Vega, the Asus 970 Strix or the ATX specs for the mentioned issues - you've been long enough in the PSU game to know better than this. It will be difficult to recommend the Focus series because of the mentioned issues. I'd rather recommend people alternative PSU's that don't have these issues, perform equally and also cost about the same. That's just the way the cookie crumbles and no brand is treated differently here.
I won't make any comments about the Hardware info news article that was pulled since I don't know the ins and outs about it. I also wont comment on The-Mask since he can no longer defend himself here.. if this whole discussion got him banned then that's the biggest loss here.
Edit: It also doesn't help that
you last week still publically denied the issue(s) in another forumpost. I don't understand why you would do that. The user in that topic swapped his Seasonic Focus Plus 550 for a Corsair RM550X and his Asus Strix 970 GTX issue was solved.
But to end on a positive note I do value Seasonic's willingness to support their customers that face any issues.
