Ik heb nog Dredd als tip voor lekker geluid. Soort cyberpunk film, ik hou van dit soort settings, herinnerend aan oude klassiekers over de toekomst. Er is ook een atmos versie.

"Lionsgate splurges on 'Dredd', giving us a DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 mix with DTS Neo:X compatibility. As you can read from an info graphic on the disc, Neo:X is a protocol that allows for a fuller sound mix for up to 11 channels of sound. My receiver, while strong, is not high-end enough to support Neo:X, but I don't mind because the lossless 7.1 mix I can hear is absolutely exceptional.
This mix is incredibly aggressive. The movie may be low budget, but the sound is big enough for a movie with a three hundred million dollar bankroll. Directionality is spectacular, with bullets bouncing from left to right and front to back. The imaging is seamless and very organic. The sound field is almost always active with sonic detail. A great example is again when Dredd steps off his bike after flipping the van full of perps. His foot lands with an immense thump thanks to the thunderous LFE. As he approaches the van, you hear the crinkle of his leather armor, the tinkling of broken glass falling from the van, and his hand tightening on the grip of his Lawmaker. Even the quiet moments are alive with vividly realized sound."
"Sound quality
If you’ve got flimsy walls, valuable ornaments perched on mantelpieces, weak foundations or any sort of neighbors, heed this warning: the Dolby Atmos mix found exclusively on the Dredd UHD BD disc is the most insanely, brutally, relentlessly potent soundtrack I’ve ever heard. And I’ve heard a lot.
Every gun shot explodes from your speakers like the world’s loudest firework. The synth-based score hits levels of bass so deep and powerful that they caused my ears to pop - a first for any 4K Blu-ray soundtrack to date. Security shutters slide closed with an impact more reminiscent of a spaceship crashing to earth. Thumped and headbutted faces sound like cabbages being crushed under rock pounders. People scream with the volume of a dozen banshees. And when Ma-Ma unleashes her turret guns on what can only be described as the entire neighborhood, you half expect the sky to fall in. Or at least your ceiling beams.
Dredd’s soundtrack also makes phenomenally aggressive use of the rear channels, filling them almost constantly with a dizzying combination of subtle ambient effects and accurately placed, dynamically transitioning shooting/fighting effects that are pretty much as potent as the racket coming from the front speakers.
To absolutely make sure there’s no escape from Dredd’s wince-inducing sonic world, the Atmos mix also uses the height channels very effectively to create a convincing sense of the verticality of the main tower block location and ensure that the endless spray of bullets and blood isn’t restricted to ground level.
These sort of audio histrionics might feel over the top in most contexts. With Dredd, though, they seem just about perfect, enhancing the film’s finely judged combination of unflinching brutality and elevated comic book sensibility.
Just don’t blame me if you have to get a builder in to repair your house by the time the film’s finished."
