Hallo Allemaal gezien de eerste mensen in NL RX6000 kaarten in handen hebben en ik zelf ook al weer volop aan het benshmarken ben leek het mij tijd om een nieuw ervaringen topic in het leven te roepen.
Navi 2x is toch weer heel anders dan Navi 1x dus vandaar een nieuw topic ipv door gaan in het oude.

Ik ga net als vorige keer weer scaling tests doen met voltages en clocks.
Mijn broers hebben ook een 6800 XT dus die ga ik ook een keer lenen zodat ik 3 6800XT's met elkaar kan vergelijken qua silicon quality.
Daarnaast heb ik zelf ook nog een 6800 in een 2e PC zitten. Dus dan kan ik ook vergelijken hoeveel die extra 12 CU's doen als ik de clocks en power gelijk ga trekken. (Met GCN schaalde dat nog wel eens erg slecht bij Navi 1x was dat al een stuk beter dus ben benieuwd hoe dat bij Navi2x is)
De FP gaat nog wat uitgebreider en netter gemaakt worden maar wilde toch al even snel mijn eerste resultaten delen.
Ik heb zelf al een uur aan superposition testjes gedraaid en dit is een samenvatting van de eerste resultaten:
3440x1400 High:
5700 XT @ 975mv 1900T ~1850MHz effectief = 5824
6800 XT @ Stock 2408T~ 2210MHz effectief = 11710
6800 XT @ 1000mvT 2408T ~2350MHz effectief = 12091
6800 XT @ 1000mvT 2500T ~2400MHz effectief = 12383
Dus snelle eerste conclusie. UV werkt weer erg goed. De GPU haal stock iets van 1050-1080mv met een target van max 1150mv. Maar door de power limits haalt hij die target niet.
Door het target voltage te verlagen maar target clock gelijk te houden krijg je dus een agressievere curve en clockt hij vervolgens hoger binnen dezelfde board power limiet.
Overigens is de 6800XT meer dan 2e zo snel op wat lagere resoluties:
2560x1440 Extreme preset:
5700 XT @ 975mv 1900T = 2848
6800 XT @ Stock 2408T = 6001
De kaart is echt super stil tov de 5700XT je hoort hem gewoon niet.
Er is wel wat coil whine bij de XT. Tijdens het gamen merk ik het tot nu toe niet. Maar hoorde het naast de kast tijdens superposition met 200fps wel.
Bij de 6800 hoor ik het ook met mijn oor naast de kast bij 60-90FPS.
In beide gevallen moet ik er nog beter naar gaan luisteren of het echt hoorbaar. Als je er op let is alles duidelijker.
