You will need:
1. A USB-A flash drive/memory stick
○ Capacity is up to you depending on how many APK (Android App files) you want to load.

General apps preparation:
1. Format the USB drive to FAT32 format (preferably on a windows computer). 2. Create a new folder labelled: third party apps
3. Assuming you want to add the Firefox browser to your MFD, download the APK file from a trusted website e.g.

4. Download the .APK file for Mozilla Firefox

5. Copy the APK file into the third party apps folder on the USB drive. 6. With the car ON or OFF, insert the USB stick into the USB-A port adjacent to the cigarette lighter/12V charging socket.
7. Turn on the car, or if it is already ON, you will be presented with a code entry field. 8. Type in the code:
a. For pre-v1.5 (Android auto) update: 20211231
b. For v1.5: BYD6125F
9. On the next screen you will see all the APK files you have put onto the USB.
10. Check the box next to the files you want to install then tap the Install button.
11. A green tick shows next to the file name to indicate it has been installed successfully.
NOTE: If you exit the apps list screen, you will have to remove and reinsert the USB to see it again.
