Ik had al een afspraak staan voor het uitvoeren van updates (omdat dat OTA niet schijnt/lijkt te werken). Net een paar dagen voor die afspraak heb ik een lege 12V accu. Dit gebeurde nadat 2/3 weken geleden de auto plotsklaps met problemen kwam (koffiekopje, zwart scherm, etc) die ik de eerste 5000 km niet had.
De onderstaande lijst is de lijst van updates die er sinds 5 februari zijn (dat is de datum waarom de dealer vlak voor de levering alle toen beschikbare updates erop gezet had waardoor toen het koffiekopje probleem voorbij was en ook wireless Apple Carplay beschikbaar was).
Het is dus een flinke lijst en ik zie zeker een paar dingen erop staan die gerelateerd aan de problemen lijken te zijn. Wat ik nog steeds niet begrijp is waarom bij mij (en anderen op dit forum) de problemen 2 tot 3 weken geleden plotseling begonnen: Is dit een mislukte OTA update van KIA geweest? Is dit het gevolg van een bijna lege accu als gevolg van een ander probleem? Is dit een software bug met overlopende tellers of zoiets? Niet duidelijk.
De auto staat nu nog bij de dealer dus ik ben benieuwd of er nog meer updates bij zijn gekomen ondertussen.
Ik had geprinte versies gekregen van de dealer dus de onderstaande tekst is met foto-tekst herkenning overgezet. Ik heb het niet uitgebreid gecontroleerd op fouten.
Opvallend is dat er op de laatste TSB een Nederlandse tekst bijstaat om duidelijk te maken dat de update voor de linker en de rechter koplamp moet gebeuren. Blijkbaar vond KIA Nederland het niet duidelijk genoeg voor onze Nederlandse monteurs. Overigens bijzonder dat elke koplamp zijn eigen software update nodig heeft.

* Condition: Integrated LED Headlamp Control Unit (ILCU) controller consumes unnecessary electricity on Standby mode by switching to active mode.
* Correction: Perform the integrated LED headlamp control Unit (ILCU) Upgrade (#1110, #1111) through KDS 2.0 diagnostic device.
CAUTION
- Integrated LED headlamp Control Unit (ILCU) Upgrade is needed to progress two times for LH (#1110) and RH (#1111).
