Lenovo heeft de eerste Panther Lake-laptops in z'n Nederlandse webshop staan:

• Yoga Slim 7i Ultra Aura Edition 14": Intel Core Ultra 7 355, levering tussen 20-02 en 24-02
• Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition 14": Intel Core Ultra 7 355, levering tussen 20-02 en 24-02
• Yoga 7i 2-in-1 Gen 11 Aura Edition 16": Intel Core Ultra 7 355, levering tussen 20-02 en 24-02
• Legion 5i Gen 11 15": Intel Core Ultra 7 356H; levering tussen 18-02 en 20-02

Hier de specs van beide processors vergeleken. De Ultra 7 355 is dus echt een kleine processor, met maar 8 cores (4 Performance, 4 Low Power Efficient), waar de 356H ook nog 8 extra Efficient cores heeft. Beide hebben een GPU met 4 Xe-cores.

Igor: Panther Lake sets new benchmark at IPC, Intel overtakes Zen 5 at microarchitecture level

Conclusion

Panther Lake marks a clear step forward for Intel at the microarchitecture level and shows that the company is once again ahead of AMD’s Zen 5 and Zen 5c designs in terms of IPC. The combination of Cougar Cove P-cores and Darkmont E-cores not only delivers higher efficiency, but also measurably more performance per clock cycle. Even though IPC alone does not provide a complete picture of overall performance, the current data underscores that Intel has created a technically convincing foundation with Panther Lake to regain a leading role in the high-end mobile segment.
