Zie plaatje ervan hierrr
http://www.avsforum.com/f...o-issues-settings-25.htmlThe day I got my E6 set up, I watched it for about 5.5 hours after the installer left around 5.30 pm and when I went to bed. It was looking perfect when I turned it off and it started it's clean cycle. When I turned it on the next morning I had a broken line of stuck pixels running from top to bottom several inches left of centre of the screen. It was a huge shock and I felt sick, I mean it was a row of pixels, probably more than a hundred of them running like a dotted line down the screen.
I decided to try the manual clean cycle so I triggered that. When it finished and I turned the screen on again the row of stuck pixels was still there, only worse, more stuck pixels. I felt even worse. I left the TV running with an off air broadcast and over the course of a few hours it started to improve. When it had been running for more than 4 hours the line of stuck pixels was still there but probably back to what it looked like when I first turned the screen on that morning. I turned it off again and let it do the auto clean cycle again and went out shopping. Came back three quarters of an hour later, turned it back on and no stuck pixels. The screen looked perfect, just like it looked the previous evening when I turned it off.
It's about 10 weeks now since that happened and I haven't seen a single stuck pixel since then. I was paranoid for a few days after it happened but that passed and now I don't even think about the event.
So yes, the clean cycle can fix stuck pixels, at least in my case. Whether the cause of your stuck pixel/pixels is the same as the cause of my line of pixels is another matter. The clean cycle may work for some causes but not for others but in my case a manual cycle didn't fix it but rather made it worse. It was the next automatic cycle that fixed it so it may take more than one cycle to fix things if the clean cycle can do it.
So there's my horror story which had a happy ending. I hope yours does too,
