Please follow the below steps so that you can fix the GPS issue.
We suggest you to remove the G-mail account from the device and add the account again.
Go setting >> scroll down >> Accounts >> G-mail >> Tap on the mail. acc. to remove.
After tapping on the mail acc.>> right hand you will get three dots tap on that. >> remove acc.
If the issue is not fixed by the above steps, please do not worry.
We advise all customers after a software update to perform a factory reset to ensure all remnants of the old software are removed from the phone so the new software is running smoothly
Please follow the below steps to back up all the data and perform a factory reset.
Please, note that a factory data reset will delete on information on your phone.
To back up your data please try the following:
To backup your Contacts, Email messages, and Calendar, please use your Gmail account.
1. Go to Settings > under Accounts you will find your accounts
2. Select your Google account.
3. Tap on your email address
4. Make sure Contacts, Gmail, and Calendar are checked.
5. Checking these items will automatically sync this data to and from your device on a periodic basis. You can also manually sync by pressing the three dots at the top right corner > Sync Now.
To backup text messages (SMS), picture messages(MMS), and call logs to your Gmail account, please try the following:
1. From the home screen, tap on the circle with 6 dots
2. Go to PlayStore
3. Download and Install the app SMS Backup+ from the Android Market. If you don’t see this app in the Market, you can also click the link above from your desktop browser and log in to the Android Market with your Google account to push it to your device.
4. Once installed, open the app on your device and select Connect to associate it to your Google account.
5. The browser will open on your device. Log into your account and then select Grant Access.
6. Once returned to the app, select Backup.
7. Enable the Auto backup setting for worry-free backup to your Google account.
If you lose your Android device or get a new one, use this same app to Restore your data from your Google account.
To back up pictures, please use Google +.
1. Open the Photos app .
2. Select the picture you want to save
3. Touch the three dots at the top right corner and select Settings.
4. Touch Auto-Backup and switch the toggle to On or Off.
In case you have not set up an account, please go back and tap on Add account.
Then follow the instructions on the screen to set up an existing Google+ account or create a new one. Then you will be able to do the step 4.
You will then be able to access your pictures from any device connected to the Internet.
To view those pictures from another device, please try the following:
1. Open the Photos app > touch the main menu icon in the top-left > Photos.
2. Touch the magnifying glass icon at the top to search your photos.
3. Type "AutoBackup" into the search field > touch the magnifying glass icon at the bottom-right of the keyboard.
Once you have backed up your information, please try the following to perform the factory data reset:
1. From the home screen, tap Menu icon (a circle with 6 dots on it, located at the bottom).
2. Tap Settings.
3. Under the Personal section, tap Backup & reset.
4. Tap Factory data reset.
5. Tap Reset phone.
6. Tap Erase everything.
Please allow several minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
To setup the device after the reset has completed, refer to Initial Activation and Setup.
