• Donkey Konga wil niet met Freeloader
Donkey Konga and FreeLoader 1.06B have some issues.
For starters, you can't save. Konga will read the memory card as corrupt, regardless of it's region or if it has saves on it. It will then ask you to format the card. If you choose yes, it will format and then attempt to save Donkey Konga data to the card. While save data will be created, it will be (suprise!) corrupt. The game will attempt to write to the memory card twice, failing each time. Furthermore, after you complete a single-player song or change any of the options, you will be asked to attempt to save again, where you will repeat this whole process.
Appeareantly, this is the same problem that plagued copies of Mr Driller : Driller Land; the only work around was to mod your Cube.
If you are going to import Konga, either mod your Cube or wait and see if CodeJunkies issues a FreeLoader update.

Nintendo gooit er ook meteen een PR praatje tegen aan
Dec. 16, 2003
Did You Know?
In the race to be the best-selling video game this holiday, only
one competitor can get the checkered flag. In November, that game was
Mario Kart : Double Dash!!(TM), exclusively for Nintendo
GameCube(TM). According to NPDFunworld's November Toy Retail Sales
Tracking Service (TRSTS), approximately 528,000 copies of Mario Kart:
Double Dash!! were sold, easily besting
any other video game on any
system.
This feat is even more remarkable when you realize that Mario
Kart: Double Dash!! was in stores for only 14 days in November,
following its launch on Nov. 17.
Additional Nintendo highlights from the November TRSTS data include:
-- 754,000 Nintendo GameCube systems were sold in November, making it
the best-performing month in the system's history. The strong
sales propelled Nintendo GameCube past Microsoft's Xbox in
YEAR-TO-DATE SALES.
-- Sales of hardware and software for Nintendo GameCube have
increased at a faster rate than either
of its console competitors
so far this year.
Console sales, YTD versus 2002
------------------------------
-- Nintendo GameCube: +61 percent
-- Xbox: +5 percent
-- PlayStation 2: -36 percent
Software sales, YTD versus 2002
-------------------------------
-- Nintendo GameCube: +60 percent
-- Xbox: +59 percent
-- PlayStation 2: +21 percent
-- As for Game Boy Advance, more than 1.3 million units were sold
in November, beating the nearest console competitor by more than
50 percent.
-- When combined, Nintendo hardware accounted for 57 percent of total
hardware units sold in November.

F0GX valt me tegen. Toch wel 1 vd beste Cube games van jaar, een Nintendo franchise en een racer waar er zo weinig van zijn op de Cube. Jammer.
Hmm Sonic Heroes weer vertraagd? Was 31/1 en nu Q1 2004. Niet echt hoopgevend.
