Mijn lijst in NIET willekeurige volgorde.
====3MP=======
1. FUJIFILM FINEPIX A303
2. PHOTOSMART 850
3. Canon PowerShot S45
4. OLYMPUS CAMEDIA C-300 ZOOM
====2MP=======
1. CANON POWERSHOT A40
Megapixels en optical zoom sells he... blijkbaar..
- .... and so on
Steve's Digicams:
"If you're in the market for a compact but advanced high-resolution digital camera that can be operated just as easily by a novice as well as experienced photographers, then check out the Powershot S45. It offers the simplicity of point-n-shoot operation with direct (no computer required) printing to all the same advanced exposure, focus and image control options found in Canon's full size cameras. The compact S45 fits into most pockets and with a street price of $499 (as of Jan 2003), it also fits into most budgets. It's hard to beat a camera that produces high quality 4 megapixel images with a sharp 3x zoom for that kind of money. "
DCRP Review:
"The Canon PowerShot S45 is a worthy upgrade of the S40, much like how the G3 improved upon the already excellent G2. I wouldn't race out and buy it if I was an S40 owner, but if I was looking for a very capable camera in a smaller body than the G3, this one is well worth a look. The photo quality on the S45 was impressive. The AF illuminator allowed the camera to focus on the more challenging subjects (in low light) around the home office. The S45 offers good performance in terms of startup, focusing, shutter lag, and shot-to-shot speeds. Overall, it's hard to go wrong with the PowerShot S45 -- it is definitely worth checking out."
DP review:
"The S45 is essentially a 'shrunk' PowerShot G3, there are some compromises, primarily the G3's fast 4x optical zoom lens, flash hot-shoe, flip-out LCD etc. But feature for feature the S45 can provide almost the same level of manual control as the G3. It's a camera you can use as a point-and-shoot 'take anywhere' and still have the flexibility to be more creative when you want. The others may cost more but the S45 is the best subcompact four megapixel currently available. Let's hope it hits the shores of the US soon. --> Highly Recommended"
