some tests I ran, I ran every test 3 times in a row exept the 1024x780 with no FSAA because I wanted to try out some features (like triple buffering etc.)
Relevant system specs:
Athlon XP1700+
768Mb PC2100DDR
Voodoo5 5500 AGP (obviously

)
2x 7200rpm maxtor 40Gb HD's (ATA100) in cooled bays
The voodoo5 was running at 192Mhz and cooled with old voodoo3 heatsinks and some old low speed processor fans. (Think 468

)
Settings were all graphical options in the x3dfx-c 1.08.04 driverset on. HSR and Zculling off (they made no difference).
Q3a demo 1
FSB 133Mhz (266) (1700+ rating, 1466Mhz)
800x600 no FSAA 129,9 - 130,5 FPS
800x600 2x FSAA 107,3 - 107,4 FPS
800x600 4x FSAA 54,8 - 54,8 FPS
1024x780 no FSAA 117,3 - 117,5 FPS
1024x780 2x FSAA 65,4 - 65,4 FPS
1024x780 4x FSAA 33,0 - 33,0 FPS
FSB 159Mhz (318) (2100+ rating, 1750Mhz)
800x600 no FSAA 147,1 - 147,2 FPS
800x600 2x FSAA 107,6 - 107,7 FPS
800x600 4x FSAA 54,8 - 54,9 FPS
1024x780 no FSAA 119,8 - 120,4 FPS
1024x780 2x FSAA 65,5 - 65,5 FPS
1024x780 4x FSAA 33,0 - 33,1 FPS
single chip was equal to 2xFSAA
HSR and Zculling made NO difference at all, disabling guardband clipping cut FPS in half.
Not too shabby eh

This also deflates the myth of scaling on high end systems (I don't consider a 1ghz P3/Tbird high end). Furthermore it shows HSR doesn't work (it made absolutely NO difference at all).
So better hurry up with those drivers so HSR will work and we can trample all other cards
