Een campaign modus zou ook wel een goede toevoeging zijn.

Hopelijk kun je hiermee het verlopen van de spoorverbindingen in beter banen leiden (letterlijk)We’re happy to announce that another game update has been released today. This update brings the long-awaited waypoint feature (for train lines), a new bus and traffic simulation improvements.
Those who like complete control over a line’s route can now add waypoints between stations. You can use existing signals as waypoints or build custom ones (also available in the signals menu). This functionality can also be employed to force a line to use a particular platform at a station.
Then, we’ve made some improvements regarding the traffic simulation. You might have observed the situation where a crossing is used by only a single car at a time. This was one cause for traffic jams and shouldn’t happen anymore. Nevertheless, if you find one of your cities entirely stuck, you may free it from cars by upgrading some of the streets. This will send a lot of people and cars home.
Finally, a new bus (MAN SL 192) has been added to fill the gap between the Mercededs-Benz O 6600 (1951) and the Berkhof Duvedec (1989).
Please find the complete release notes here.
A note for modders: you can now add custom signals and waypoints (so that they appear in the menu) by including the appropriate metadata in the model file. See the existing files for reference.

Today we officially announce a first Train Fever DLC. The DLC will be available for free in February 2015 and will include more than 50 typical American locomotives, train cars, buses, streetcars and trucks.
But it’s not only vehicles: When starting a new game, players can choose whether to play in a European or American environment then. Terrain, vegetation and towns will look different dependent on the player’s choice as well.

Hopelijk gaan ze binnenkort ook nog eens aan de slag met de talloze problemen die er nog steeds zijn, maar in ieder geval is deze DLC gratis en is het dus geen kwestie van uitmelken...Today we officially announce that the Train Fever USA DLC will be released this Friday, February 27. The DLC will be available for free and features a complete American game mode.
Equivalent to the original European game mode, the player starts in 1850 and experiences more than 150 years of railroad history. More than 50 realistic American vehicles including trains, buses, streetcars and trucks are included.
To make the American experience complete, landscape and towns are modified as well. Wild West stylized American towns spread in a desert landscape and wait for a transport tycoon to be connected to the world. Also, environment elements like trees, streets and the sky have been adapted.
All vehicles are realistic. Models and textures have been developed by using blueprints and photographs of the original vehicles. As a result, the USA DLC depicts quite a piece of American railroad and transportation history.
The USA DLC has been developed in close collaboration with the modding community. We are excited that modders have contributed more than 15 vehicles. It’s great to see such an active modding community. To further support these activities, together with the release of the USA DLC modding support is significantly extended.

Together with the Gambitious Digital Entertainment team we are incredibly happy to finally announce our newest development:
Transport Fever is a next generation transport simulation game coming to PC this fall. Players build up a thriving transport company and create complex rail-road-water-air networks. In addition to the genre-typical endless game mode, two historical campaigns offer real world challenges from more than 150 years of transportation history.
A lot of work has been put into the development of Transport Fever. The game offers an impressing list of improvements over the predecessor Train Fever. Most important features are:
Endless game with two scenarios and countless rail, road, water and air vehicles
Campaign mode with challenges from the European and North American transportation history
Arguably the most intuitive and powerful track construction tools ever seen in a game
Upgradable and extendable stations, harbors and airports
A sophisticated cargo model with realistic freight stocks and complex chains
Agent-based passenger simulation and dynamically evolving cities
Realistically simulated vehicles including interiors, aging and modifiable painting and logos
Heavily optimized user interface and late-game performance
Extensive modding support including Steam Workshop
For each listed bullet point there is lot more to uncover. While the new website offers many explanations and more information on the various topics, here at Urban Games we expect that there will be many questions. This is why there will be a regular developer blog where we discuss the features in detail over the next couple of weeks.
Due to limited resources and development time, we were forced to make a decision: Either make a great single player or an average multi-player game, and we are convinced that we made the right decision. However we can promise that making a great multi-player game is one of our company’s top future priorities.
We invite everybody to discuss the upcoming game in the official Forums. In addition, Transport Fever is present on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. For those mainly interested in staying on track and not missing updates, we suggest to register our Newsletter. Also, there are several fan pages where engaged community members discuss the game.
The team at Urban Games is thrilled to receive your feedback. Everybody here and at Gambitious is looking forward to receive your input and suggestions!
