Interview met CD project. Ik heb inmiddels mijn verwachting van dit spel bijgesteld. Misschien nog steeds wel game of the year, maar beetje door gebrek aan alternatieven. BAH CDP vieze streken. PC = geen console. Breng het dan eerst op PC uit en downgrade het voor console. Nu is de pc versie zeer waarschijnlijk gedowngrade.

ll the versions of the game are unified- we have one build, which is then distributed on all platforms. The game is exactly the same everywhere, the draw distance for the grass and foliage is the same everywhere. What small differences there are, are attributed to different GPU configurations on consoles, which might result in slightly different contrast and color.

You could find some minor differences- like the Nvidia hair technology, but they are very demanding hardware-wise. It might be silly to talk about it now, but we do have the ubersampling option like in TW2, but you should turn that on far into the future. This setting killed the performance in TW2 on release, and it kills the performance in TW3 now. We'll probably unlock this setting further down the line, but it will remain locked on release.

Yes, everything is the same everywhere, otherwise we wouldn't be able to develop the game on time. We would have to create separate builds and test all of them on 3 platforms, which is impossible to do. So we have only one build, which is then distributed on all platforms. On the platforms that have less memory we just do things slightly differently- we load less detailed models at first for example; it all depends on what is happening on the screen. Summing up though, there are little to no differences between PC, PS4 and XBO versions of the game, we just solve problems unique to each platform differently.

It's 30. We're working on optimizing the game further, it's important to us, each machine is different. The recommended requirements might change further down the line, it can only be better from now on.
