Dear sir/madam,
I installed FW V1.0.6.98 on my WNDR3700 but it gives a lot of problems. Some devices doesn''t get an IP adres and a lot of applications has connection problems. For example: IRC and RDP connections disconnects after a few minutes.
Is this a known problem and how can i fix this?

There are indeed some issues with the 1.0.6.98 firmware.

We will report the issue with the IRC and RDP connections to our development department (we will add it to our data base) and hopefully all the issues will be resolved in the next version.
Meanwhile, you could temporarily downgrade to the previous firmware (1.0.4.68) if it has been working fine for you:

Hello,
I downgraded the firmnware and this fixed the problem.
Can you tell me when a new firmware version will be released?
In my opinion it is unacceptable that an high end device as the WNDR3700 gets an firmware update with introduces more problems then it fixes.

My colleagues try to do their best to ensure that every firmware version solves all issues experienced with the previous one, so I am pretty sure that these problems will be solved.
Unfortunately I am unable to tell you when exactly the next version will be available, it is a question of testing and finding solutions for the known issues.
