Over die "Escartus" heb ik het volgende gevonden:
hier ergensFrom what I can gather this fibreglass bodied beast was built in the 80's and is/was a complete working car until I removed the Leyland P76 V8 to paint the chassis and freshen up the suspension, however this is as far as I got. The front end is in a state of disassembly but all parts are there and it requires low-volume certification before it can be road legal - however it would be a very unique head turner for someone willing to get this this thing on the road!
Body: Full fibreglass two door with pop-up headlights. Fuel filler is mounted behind rear window and the stainless fuel filler tube can be seen through the rear quarter window. One piece forward tilting front clip makes engine work easy! The left rear brake light lens in broken however it is an XD Falcon item so it is easily replaced.
Engine: Leyland P76 4.4l with only a few k's on it, standard carb that ran well before I removed it. Twin exhaust system with standard headers. (thanks to the people who corrected me on the make)
Gearbox: Sierra? 5spd
Suspension/Brakes: Discs up front, drums on rear. I had the front springs raised 30mm as it was a bit too low and I replaced all suspension bolts with stainless items.
Interior: Custom four seater, fully carpeted with a small race wheel.
What will end humanity? Artificial intelligence or natural stupidity?
