Thanks for your feedback thijszor
A number of points I must make:
I'm the guy who is in first place, yes I have vmodded the card but only the gpu. The reason for this is because I have alot of experience with Qimonda overclocking; this is not my first competition

If you do your research you will find that Qimonda memory does not respond well to increases in voltage, therefore the clock that you get with stock voltage is usually very close to the highest your memory will go, but there are always exceptions.
I have overclocked my PCI-E bus (110MHzas is shown in the results table) for my card the speed shown is pretty much the maximum I will be getting from my memory, maybe a few MHz more we shall see. This speed is not related to the gpu core, it is related to the quality of the memory on the card. If it were related to the core the no one should be able to beat my memory clock, yet two people already have because the memory they have is better. Remember you are only as good as your weakest link, and there are 8 ram modules on the card; the odds are one of them will be the limiting factor!
It is pointless for us to project performance based on one cards results, once others from BTUK start to bench we will have a better idea of what is the "norm"
I too want a fair competition and this is why I present these points openly. I have nothing to hide and welcome constructive criticism so that we can all agree on the results

Hi, good to see a reply so soon.
During the writing i realised it was you indeed, but didnt really bother to adjust to it, my bad for that
And alright, was uncertain if it was Vmodded indeed, but it's alot more clear now, thanks for that.
My comment concerning the Memory was more due the fact your around 15FPS higher, you might be an
"expert" tweaker & bencher and overclocker" but it was more the scalability i was worried about.
Rivatuner and D3Doverrider are one of the few things allowed, thus my reply concerning that issue.
Might be you know things we dont, but as mentioned, the few programs allowed dont give room for that much.
And yeah, i can find myself in your story concerning the memory, some are more lucky then others
Concerning the pci-e bus, you've chosen to stick around with 110Mhz? your explanation concerning the fact your card is not able to handle it properly ( how exactly does that work, isnt it a too low pci-e bus voltage? )
And yeah, 110Mhz should give you a few more Mhz to play with , going to see what i can push more from it myself tonight most likely, or if i can even push it higher that is.
Anyhow, my reaction was a bit overdrawn perhaps indeed, was more a quick looking at the stats, seeing someone with 15FPS more with "relative ease" ( as it appeared ) and the minor discussion we had with a member exedently using a A1 revision, that got a fair bit of FPS higher "instantly" aswell that all accumilated in my reply. So my apologies for that atleast
And again, thanks for your reply. makes everything alot more clear, let's hope for a proper contest
