Next season (29) changes
1. Markets search, open for everyone, you can bid on any Driver/Designer/C.Director you want.
2. Income scaled down to lower classes. Each class will make about 15% less race income than class above. This will hurt C4 the most, but there is way too much money in their bank accounts and it was unbalanced with their spending, making overspending a habit that is not healthy and promoting to higher class presented financial management challenge which they were unprepared for.
3. Tax system changed. Taxes: <20M not taxable, 10% on 20-40M, 20% on 40-60M, 30% on 60-80M, 40% on 80-100M, 50% on over 100M. So someone with 150M in their bank account pays 47.5M in taxes at the end of THIS season:
0 taxes on balance under 20M,
2M taxes on balance 20-40M (20*10%=2M)
4M taxes on balance 40-60M (20*20%=4M)
6M taxes on balance 60-80M (20*30%=6M)
8M taxes on balance 80-100M (20*40%=8M)
25M taxes on balance 100-150M (50*50%=25M)
0+2+4+6+8+25=45M taxes
4. Parts reliability/failures formulas revisited. Parts will fail much more at lower condition levels, but will be more reliable when new or almost new. However, at the start of the race parts that are new, will be worn at the end of it, so even if your car is all shiny and new 100%, something still can fail. Also many new levels of failures have been introduced, so terminal failures will be rare, most often it will be some kind of malfunction that allows to continue the race and get decent result.
5. Aero testing will have a bit smaller effects (about 33% smaller). Driver will train about 50% slower during testing (Setup & tuneup will give a bit higher gains then others). Fast driver training has created many super drivers and this will create problems in the drivers market in the long run. So we are slowing down drivers’ development a little bit.
6. Default parts efficiency will be 30, so everyone will lose regular end of season 20% of design and another 10 point in effectiveness on top of that. Design improvement formula will change a little bit, design will get better slower than until now. Old formula was meant for 50 default efficiency, so it has to be adjusted for changes.
7. When you win race sponsors will pay only win bonus, not the points bonus. Win bonus will be a bit higher than 10 times point bonus, unless you have renegotiated it so that point bonus is higher, but otherwise, winning will still give higher income than scoring 10 points. Note, that when winning the race for driver you pay only win bonus, so now it will be consistent across the game
8. Team renewal costs reduced to 0.5M, each class get 5M more for team championship (Class 1: 25,000,000; Class 2: 23,000,000; Class 3: 21,000,000; Class 4: 19,000,000).
9. Championship bonuses increased by 5M for Class 1, 4M for Class2, 3M for Class 3, 2M for Class 4 so for Class 1 they will be: champion: 15,000,000; 2nd place: 14,000,000; 3rd place: 13,000,000;4th place: 12,000,000…
There may be more changes, but this is the best overview that we can present now.
