Druids
* When the duration of "Cyclone" ends, area buffs such as "Leader of the Pack", "Tree of Life", and "Moonkin" will now be correctly resumed.
* "Bear Form" now grants 25% increased stamina instead of 25% increased health.
* "Dire Bear Form" now grants 25% increased stamina instead of 25% increased health. In addition, the armor bonus has been reduced from 450% to 400%.
* The multiplier on base weapon damage for "Mangle (Bear)" ability has been changed from 130% to 100%. In addition, the bonus damage has been reduced by the same ratio.
* "Savage Fury" no longer affects "Mangle (Bear)".
* "Savage Fury" no longer applies to "Maul" or "Swipe".
* The critical damage bonus on "Predatory Instincts" reduced from 3/6/9/12/15% to 2/4/6/8/10%.
* "Improved Leader of the Pack" can no longer get critical heals.
* The armor bonus from "Moonkin Form" has been increased from 360% to 400% (to match Dire Bear Form).
* The rage normalization equation has been adjusted to grant more rage.
Let me analyse all these changes for you, one by one:
* When the duration of "Cyclone" ends, area buffs such as "Leader of the Pack", "Tree of Life", and "Moonkin" will now be correctly resumed.
1. Cyclone, just a bugfix, doesn't matter.
* "Bear Form" now grants 25% increased stamina instead of 25% increased health.
* "Dire Bear Form" now grants 25% increased stamina instead of 25% increased health.
2. 25% stamina over 25% health. This has some effect for us, but it is not as bad as it would seem right now, because:
- Of course stamina equals health, and as such, the only thing this buff changes is that the bearform bonus does not stack with +health enchants or buffs, but it will still stack with buffs such as PW:F, Blood Pact and Blessing of Kings. The only thing this changes is that bearform doesn't scale with our HP without stamina (4012, which right now adds 1003 HP in bearform, this is all we lose). The 25% stamina will also stack with Heart of the Wild, resulting in stamina being boosted by 45% when we enter bearform. Overall, we take a rough 1000 HP nerf. No biggie.
In addition, the armor bonus has been reduced from 450% to 400%.
3. Armor down from 450% to 400%. OMG 50 % NERF TO ARMOR! THIS IS HUGE! Erm, no it's not. For PvE purposes, I'm going to assume 3/3 Thick hide, which brings multiplier from caster to bear down from 6,05 to 5,5 times the armor. A very quick example of how little this matters would be to look at my current armor in bear:
- Currently I have 26017 armor. To get the "new" armor in bear, we're gonna do something which isn't completely correct but so close that it won't matter for demonstation purposes. ( 26017 / 6,05 ) * 5,5, shows what we should have after the nerf, which is 23652 armor.
The mitigation from armor goes from 71,13%, to 69,14%. A 2% mitigation from armor nerf. At the same time, by dodge goes from providing 7,11% mitigation to 7,60% mitigation. Overall, I take a total of about 1,5% total mitigation nerf. Is this major? Nope.

* "Savage Fury" no longer affects "Mangle (Bear)".
4/5. Mangle Bear takes a nerfbat to the face, that much is obvious. It loses some damage before talents, and no talents boosts it anymore. After patch, it should do something like 100% damage + 160ish. This would (for me at least) result in crits going from about 2,1k on cloth, to 1200ish on cloth. In total, it means that we will not have the DPS output of a MS warrior while tanking. In a way, this is also pretty fair, all things considered.
* "Savage Fury" no longer affects "Mangle (Bear)".
* "Savage Fury" no longer applies to "Maul" or "Swipe".
6. Maul no longer gets a 20% damage bonus, resulting in it doing 16,6% less damage. No big deal really, crits will go from around 1100 in tanking gear to 950ish. Hardly a reason to reroll. Swipe takes the same nerf, going from 600 crits to 500 crits.
* The critical damage bonus on "Predatory Instincts" reduced from 3/6/9/12/15% to 2/4/6/8/10%.
7. The Predatory Instincts nerf means our crit multiplier goes from 2,15 to 2,1. A "might" 2,3% reduction in all crit damage, downgrading total DPS something like 0,8%. A minor adjustment, meaning nothing in the big picture, and the talent is still incredibly great because of the 15% AoE resist.
* "Improved Leader of the Pack" can no longer get critical heals.
8. Improved Leader of the Pack nerf is a vanity change, since it hardly ever crits anyway. Nothing gamebreaking here.
* The armor bonus from "Moonkin Form" has been increased from 360% to 400% (to match Dire Bear Form).
9. Moonkin boost! Fair change, means nothing for Iron Edge since we have a grand total of ZERO Balance druids.
* The rage normalization equation has been adjusted to grant more rage.
10. More rage! I have no idea why we get this to be honest. Our DPS output in bear is lessened a bit, but normal hits are unchanged, meaning we still build more rage than warriors, BEFORE the patch. Now we will still be generating more rage than the warrior, and will have an even easier time getting "infinite rage". The effect of this is that we can use our abilities, aka Mangle/Maul/Lacerate/Swipe/Demoralising Roar even more often than before, making up for the damage nerfs threatwise.
Conclusion!
We go from being slightly overpowered to good. Our mitigation is going down 1,5%. Our catform DPS goes down about 1%. Bear damage output goes down a little bit, and we won't see such insane crits as previously. All in all, we're adjusted, but not broken.
