Hello,
With regards to your enquiry, the problem you are experiencing can be caused by many things, please try the following steps to resolve your issue. You may have already tried some of these steps, but please make sure all have been done.
1) First, please delete the WTF, WDB and Interface folders in your World of Warcraft directory, this will reset the game to default settings, clear the cache and remove any Custom User Interface mods installed (but will not delete any characters).
2) Make sure you have the latest drivers for your Graphics card, Sound card, Network Card and Motherboard. Please check the manufacturers' websites for the current drivers that match the model of card you have in your system. A list of manufacturers with contact information can be found at this page:
http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msi0369p
Please also make sure you have all the available updates from:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
3) Configure your Network Connection Settings:
1. Go to "Start" > "Control Panel".
2. Double click to open "Network Connections".
3. Right click on your network adapter used to connect to the internet and go to properties.
4. Click on "Configure" and go to the "Advanced" tab.
5. Please disable the following options if present: 'Checksum Offload' or 'Hardware Checksumming',
Please set the following options (if present) to Force 100 Full Duplex (the wording of the option may vary): 'Connection Type', 'Speed and Duplex Settings' or 'Media Type'
If present, please set the 'Optimize for' option to 'Throughput'
6. Click on Ok.
4) Please check and confirm that there are no background applications running while you are playing World of Warcraft, more information on disabling background applications can be found here:
http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=agi0558p
5) Please also check that your Firewall is correctly configured. More information on configuring firewalls for use with World of Warcraft can be found here:
http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=aww01175p
You may wish to try temporarily uninstalling your Firewall to deduce if this is the source of the problem. Please do not uninstall your Firewall if you are not able to reinstall it, also we do not recommend disabling your Firewall as this often causes other problems.
6) As a troubleshooting step, try running the game in openGL mode and without sound:
- Click Start
- Highlight Programs
- Highlight World of Warcraft without clicking on it.
- Right click on the World of Warcraft icon
- Click Properties
- In the Target field, add '-opengl' and '-nosound' after the last quotation mark
Example: "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe" -opengl -nosound
- Click OK
- Try the game now with the icon you just modified.
You can also try running the game in a window by adding
-windowed
to the line as explained above. You can also put both options on at the same time, just make sure there is a space between them.
7) Check your hard disk for any errors by following the instructions on this ScanDisk/Defrag web page:
http://www.blizzard.com/support/wow/?id=mgi0559p

We have seen some reports from Windows users where clearing out the contents of the Temporary directories has resolved this problem.
To do this goto My Computer and the Hard Disk drive C: then the Windows folder and then the folder labelled temp. Goto the edit menu and choose 'Select All' then press the 'delete' key on the keyboard.
Then goto the Start Menu and choose Run, type in
%temp%
Click Ok, then goto the Edit menu in the folder that appears, choose Select All then press the 'delete' key on the keyboard.
9) For many players, this #132 error results from unstable memory subjected to great quantities of data transfers. We are tentatively recommending users try memory scan utilities such as the Windows Memory Diagnostic, available directly from Microsoft:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp
We recommend the extended test suite, which takes the longest time to run but is the most thorough test suite available with this tool.
If you continue to experience problems please reply to this email, including a detailed description of which steps above you tried and your results. Please also include the following diagnostic files for further analysis.
Please attach any text files in the "World of Warcraft\Errors" and "World of Warcraft\Logs" folder to your reply along with two files, your dxdiag.txt and msinfo.txt:
Important Note: Please reboot your system prior to creating the DXDiag and msinfo files.
1. Click on Start.
2. Click on Run.
3. Type in DXDIAG and press Enter or click OK, this will open the DirectX diagnostic tool. Run the DirectDraw, Direct3D and DirectSound tests found under the Display and Sound tabs before creating the dxdiag.txt file.
4. Click on the Save All Information Button (save this file to your windows desktop and name it DXDiag).
5. Click on the More Help tab and open the Microsoft system information tool (MSInfo).
6. Click on File and choose Export (save this file to your windows desktop as a text file and name it MSInfo). Please make sure to save this file as a .txt file and NOT as a .nfo file.
7. Attach the dxdiag.txt and msinfo.txt files to your email.
Special MSinfo Instructions for Windows 2000 users:
1. Create your dxdiag.txt file as explained above.
2. Now choose the More Help tab.
3. Click the MSInfo button.
4. Important! - Be sure to highlight the System Information in the top left.
5. Go to the Action menu, choose All Tasks, Save As Text File.
6. Save the file to your Desktop and name the file msinfo.txt.
7. Attach this msinfo.txt file and the dxdiag.txt file to your email.

Description: Hello, Since i've readed a reply i thought, wouldn't it be so that World of warcraft doesn't support the page memory file anymore? I posted this earlier on the forums but i didn't got any reply This hasn't been tested (Atleast at my knowledge i haven't heard anything about it) I really don't know if it would work to disable page file or make wow compatible with it Just wanted to share the information Greetings , Jeffrey
