Probleem:
Ik zit met een probleem, en ik heb het al voorgelegd aan de mensen op het MSI forum, maar aangezien de respons daar nul is, vraag ik het hier maar

Hi,
As you can read in the topic title my D-Led hangs. Where, you will ask. Well, it hangs @ the initializing of the keyboard controller. I know, there have been topics about this previously, but none of the solutions mentioned in those topics seems to work for me. So, here I am, and here are the details of my problem.
First, let's take a look @ my specs:
MSI 875P Neo FIS2R (PCB 1.0), BIOS 2.0
Intel PIV 2,6 Ghz CPU
Corsair Twinx 2x256MB DDR500
Zalman 400A-APF PSU
Club3d nVidia GeForce 5900XT GPU
Western Digital Raptor 36GB x2 (RAID 0 on ICH5R)
I don't think the rest of my specs are relevant, if you think they are, please ask.
The next you should know is that this sytem has been working perfect for the last three months. Ever since a few days, when I replaced my 9700 Pro by the above GPU, and I also installed the Asetek Waterchill KT-12 into my sytem, I've been having this problem. First I could boot, but later this problem occured. I found out that it was the NB block that wasn't making proper contact with the chip. So I removed the NB block, cleaned the core with spiritus, and reinstalled the original cooler. My pc still refused to boot. I really don't know what is causing this. This is what I've tried:
- Removing GPU and replacing it by antoher, without success
- Clearing CMOS, without success
- Checked all PSU lines if they were properly connected, they were, and no effect.
- .....
Anyone else got an idea?
I'm getting pretty tired of this

I have now looked closely @ the D-Led, and this is what it is doing as soon as I hit the power button:
- 4 green lights for a period of half a second (I don't think that's odd)
- Next I get the code: RRRG, meaning (directly form the manual):
Initializing video interface. This will start detecting CPU clock, checking type of video onboard. Then, detect and initialize the video adapter
- And finally I get the RRGR, meaning the initializing of the keyboard controller. And that is whn my computer hangs.
I do get power on the rest of the sytem, and the system, judging by the noises it's making, seems to boot just fine, until you look @ the D-Leds. My pc always fires up my HDD's and I can always shortly hear a HDD's searching noise. That was and still is normal, and it still does that. Also my CD/DVD (also from MSI) would check for a CD-ROM, and spin twice before booting. The pc still does this as well. So the noises are fine, but it's just isn't booting
I just don't get it.....

Ik snap er dus geen zak van

Ik heb het maar in het Engels gelaten omdat het anders zo'n werk is het weer te vertalen naar correct Nederlands
