Niet dat ik weet. Ik volg verschillende fora.
1. Custom background image in Personal Mode — one-off reset of existing settings
In Personal Mode, you can now upload your own image and use it as the background for the Central Display. To do this, scan the QR code shown using your smartphone and upload your favourite image. Save up to three themes, which you can switch between at any time to personalise your driving experience visually to your liking.
In addition, a more intuitive user interface and expanded personalisation options have been introduced in MyModes, which is why previously saved settings will be reset once.
2. Thanks to AI, an assistant that really understands youThanks to the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant PLUS, operating your BMW has never been easier. The AI-powered assistant understands natural conversation, detects context and answers even the most complex questions. It offers a new conversational experience and thus provides seamless support on every journey, without commands or rigid phrasing.
To start the one-off setup, press the microphone button or open the Personal Assistant menu. The Intelligent Personal Assistant PLUS will be available to you shortly afterwards for a limited period.
3. Fascinating sound in every seatIn future, Dolby Atmos will offer you an impressive sound experience from every seat in your BMW. This sophisticated audio technology creates a three-dimensional sound with presence, depth and a wealth of detail.
Instruments and voices sound clearer and more balanced. The sense of space and dynamics are also noticeably improved. This requires the use of a Dolby Atmos-compatible service such as Amazon Music Unlimited, Audible, Disney+ or Melon, as well as content that supports this format.
4. New and revised Widgets for the BMW Panoramic VisionThe design of some existing Widgets for BMW Panoramic Vision has been revised. This improves readability and visual quality. Depending on the market, additional new Widgets are available to you.
Selection is made, as usual, via the Central Display. From there, simply drag and drop the Widgets you want into the Panoramic Vision area.
5. Real time charging cost display for greater transparencyWhen participating in a public charging process, you can now see the estimated total cost in real time directly on your BMW’s Central Display and simultaneously in the My BMW App.
Just as with a traditional refuelling process, the amount is calculated continuously. Any additional costs that may arise will be charged immediately. This means you’ll always know the estimated cost of the current charging process, giving you greater transparency and control when charging at public charging points.
6. A clearer overview of large public charging stationsFrom now on, individual charging points at a charging location and their current availability will be displayed separately in the detailed map view.
This allows you to see at a glance, even in large charging parks, which charging points are free and available, and which match your desired charging power. Showing availability information on the Central Display makes it easier to find your way around and avoids unnecessary journeys.
7. The motorway assistant is now available to bookStart using the motorway assistant now. On request, it maintains speed and distance from the vehicle in front and steers.
Once the system is ready, you can take your hands off the steering wheel at speeds of up to 130 km/h on motorways where this is permitted, provided you keep a close eye on the traffic and intervene yourself if necessary.
The assistant also suggests lane changes, which you confirm by glancing in the exterior mirror. Bookings are made via the BMW ConnectedDrive Store.
8. Performing saved parking manoeuvres at the touch of a buttonYour vehicle is now also equipped with the Manoeuvre Assistant. Upon request, it records parking and manoeuvring manoeuvres carried out manually and replays them in a semi-automated manner at the touch of a button.
Comfort is noticeably improved, particularly during repetitive manoeuvres when entering driveways or garages. The assistant can store up to 15 manoeuvres, each covering a maximum of 200 metres, for a total distance of up to 1,200 metres.
9. Faster linking of vehicle keys and driver profilesIf your BMW detects an unlinked physical or digital vehicle key whilst the profile is active, it will notify you via the Central Display. Clicking on the notification links the key directly to the active driver profile.
If there are several unassigned keys, a manual selection is made in the link menu. In the guest profile, clicking on the notification will take you to the profile registration page.
When the release of door locks is performed using a linked key, your personal profile is automatically activated.
10. Set up your own customised workflowsIn future, you will be able to configure personalised routines via the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. These start depending on conditions such as temperature, time of day or location.
You also have access to customisable templates with pre-configured settings, which learn and are optimised based on your usage behaviour. In addition, the control interface has been improved, and some routines now start automatically after a short delay.
You must be logged in with your BMW ID and have the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant activated.
11. More animations in BMW Panoramic VisionFrom now on, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant will display relevant animations in BMW Panoramic Vision on even more occasions.
This includes situations such as opening the windows, changes in the weather, adjusting the air conditioning, or when you start your BMW.
To use this feature, you will need a BMW ID and an activated BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. Furthermore, it must be configured and visible for the BMW Panoramic Vision system.
12. Easily deactivate warnings and steering interventionsYou can now customise the content of the “Reduced Warnings” yourself. You can decide for yourself which warnings, interventions and functions you wish to temporarily deactivate.
You can now also activate or disable the “Reduced Warning” setting directly via the Central Display or the quick access menu in the vehicle settings. Once deactivated, your previously selected settings will be restored.
Please note that, for legal reasons, certain settings are automatically activated at the start of every new journey.
13. Video recordings of parking collisions directly on your smartphoneYou can now view the video recordings from the parking collision recorder directly in the My BMW App.
Following a collision whilst parked, you will receive a push notification on your smartphone. This allows you to see immediately what has happened and react promptly.
This feature is included in the BMW Digital Premium package, which can be booked separately.
14. Push notifications for remote-controlled parkingWhen you select the Remote Control Parking function on the Central Display, you will immediately receive a push notification on your smartphone.
You can use this to start or resume the parking manoeuvre straight away once you have got out of the car. So you no longer need to open the My BMW App and select Remote Control Parking first, as you did previously.
15. Better orientation and a clear view in parking environmentsIn Assist View, relevant objects in the parking environment are now also displayed and highlighted. This enables you to detect suitable parking spaces and potential hazards more quickly.
In addition, the button for cleaning the camera now appears directly above the parking sign on the Central Display. This makes it quicker and easier to clean the lens.
16. The Lane Keeping Assistant now also detects low objects on the side of the roadAs well as responding to lane markings, the Lane Keeping Assistant now also warns of imminent side collisions with low structures at the edge of the carriageway.
Here, it responds with targeted visual warnings and, depending on the settings, assists with steering interventions.
17. Enhanced view of driver assistance features on the BMW 3D Head-up DisplayThe Assist View in the BMW 3D Head-up Display now dynamically aligns the visualisation with the course of the road.
The road is no longer depicted as a static straight line, but follows the curve of the street. This will give you a more intuitive understanding and enable you to grasp driving situations even better.
18. Greater support through Expanded Road Priority WarningsIn future, your BMW will be able to detect people in the vicinity of pedestrian crossings or zebra crossings and will warn you if you are in danger of failing to give way.
Depending on the situation, this is indicated via visual notices or warnings in BMW Panoramic Vision. In critical situations, an acoustic signal is also emitted.
Warnings will also be issued in future in situations where right of way must be given.
19. More icons for clearer warningsIn future, additional warning symbols will indicate the reasons why the Emergency Brake Assistant has been activated.
In addition to the familiar icons, warnings about two-wheeled vehicles and animals are displayed in BMW Panoramic Vision. This makes the warning easier to understand.
20. The Efficiency Trainer helps you adopt an energy-efficient driving styleThe Efficiency Trainer promotes an anticipatory and energy-efficient driving style by providing notices via the BMW Panoramic Vision system.
Using navigation and route information, the system detects bends, roundabouts, speed limits and turns. It also provides context-specific recommendations, such as accelerating more gently or coasting early.
In Efficient Mode, the function is automatically enabled.
21. Earlier hazard detection through optimised Crossing Traffic WarningFrom now on, in the parking view, the side of the Central Display from which a potential danger is approaching will be highlighted in red.
Thanks to this intuitive display, you can spot dangerous cross-traffic sooner, particularly in tight spaces or where visibility is poor.
22. Battery preconditioning for faster DC chargingBattery preparation for faster DC charging can now also be activated whilst the charging process is underway at an AC charging station or your Wallbox at home.
In this process, the high-voltage battery is conditioned to the optimum charging temperature in order to increase the subsequent DC charging power and reduce the charging time.
Additional update notesGeneral improvements to parking functionsThe Park Assist and proactive parking assistance benefit from targeted improvements for more efficient and convenient use.
Optimised test modules improve semi-automated parking manoeuvres. Expanded, proactive notices from the parking functions ensure an even more intuitive and context-sensitive user experience, whilst maintaining the usual high levels of precision and safety.
General quality improvements and error correctionsThis software update brings your BMW up to date, fixes bugs and includes safety improvements. For an improved driving experience. This update is recommended to everyone.
