Ik wil de mensen hier niet teleurstellen, maar toen ik contact met de mensen van McGuider probeerde op te nemen, kreeg ik dit als reply ('t is een conversatie van donderdag/vrijdag):

McGuider products will not be any longer part of the Tele Atlas portfolio. Sygic Mobile Maps 9 is very similar in functionality and pricing to McGuider 2009. There is also possibility to buy the product from the webshop directly.
To your questions:
- TMC is going to be part of the application, but it's still under the construction and unfortunately I don't have information when is it going to be integrated;
- There is no TTS feature included in Europe version. We are providing TTS feature just for English speaking countries (maps of US, North America, Australia and New Zealand) now and TTS is in English.

Zoals jullie misschien al gezien hebben is bovenstaand email adres het enige adres wat werkt.
Mijn antwoord aan hun was alsvolgt:

Hold on for one second. So you're redirecting me to Sygic because McGuider is not going to be in the Tele Atlas anymore.
Which means? They will stop to exist shortly? There's not going to be a new version of McGuider? There are not going to be map-updates for McGuider?
Because both of you do not have TMC or TTS planned for the dutch market (remember? TMC was promised in summer 2008, almost all other navigation systems support dutch TTS) in the short term, your redirection makes me go to back to TomTom, because now both McGuider AND Sygic -in my humble opinion- don't support the needs of the 20 collegues I'm helping to find a consistent navigation system for.
How do they say this? It's a pity? I almost bought 20x McGuider and you helped me not to.
But thank you for your honest reply, now I'll start looking for other navigation systems besides Sygic & McGuider.

Ik ben benieuwd of ik nog antwoord krijg. 'k Ben er behoorlijk pissed off over; Als ik m'n advies had uitgebracht, dan had ik voor gek gestaan bij een aantal collega's...
Eens kijken of ik nog antwoord krijg op m'n gestelde vragen! Mocht iemand nog meer tips hebben... Ik neig nu over te stappen op Navigon vanwege TMC en ... zowaar TTS (1 stem; Antje)
