As regards to the issue of restarting, please ensure that you are using the provided, original AC/DC power adapter.
If the restart occurs during the use of a file sharing application (e.g.
eMule, BitTorrent), the problem might be caused by its settings. In this case, please reduce the number of simultaneous connections in the file sharing application. Please note that automatic restarts are initiated by the FRITZ!Box as a security mechanism that is triggered by errors (often as a result of overload). A reset puts the FRITZ!Box back into a stable condition.
I am terribly sorry to inform you that the support for the FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7050 International Edition has already expired, as it is an older product that has not been developed and sold for a longer period of time.
Firmware, drivers, software and manuals are still available on our website.

Dear,
When I receive or do a voip call random I loose my adsl sync, call and internet dropped resync en I can phone/surf again.
I do have this issue already longtime but I always hoped that it was a firmware issue, that would be corrected, but until now I haven't seen after 15 months, no new firmware release.
I don't now for sure where the issue is located.
It is a Fritz 7050 international annex A english model, I am running the latest available firmware.
I already resetted the device towards factory default settings.
My dsl profile is 4096/512 , attainable rate is 7,5 MBit / 1,1 MBit, but my
provider doesn't offer higher dan 4 MBit.
For now I have switched of my dsl part and connected a standard Thomson
536v6
modem in bridged profile on the lan port, and I let make the fritz the pppoe connection, voip and other config is equal, and now everything is stable.
Could you provide me with some tips / software for resolving this issue ?
Second question seen that there is no firmware updates anymore, is this modem for you obsolete, unsupported ?
I was very enthousiast about your products, but I am getting more and more disappointed, I have the idea, that the international market is nice, and the german market is always miles forward.
