Good Morning ROSE!
Since I was the lowest level among everyone in the room last night (and maybe because of the fact that I brought my laptop with me), I took down the minutes for the players to digest. The questions and suggestions were summarized into related topics and once more moved together under certain headings. As of this writing I am still summarizing the last heading but I decided to post something already for the community to digest (given the people bugging me about it).
Given the length, I will be posting them one section at a time. They are also paraphrased at times because I'd rather not have the mods banning me. There are also specific things I WILL NOT post here (for those who attended who might say I missed something), these include but are not limited too: How much pizza I ate last night, how Bele hoarded the iced tea, how late everyone was, the gang that was sitting behind me, the complaint why there were no girls among the players who attended... etc.
Now for business. First a backgrounded and a bit of context - so that the explanations don't repeat themselves too much:

Things are moving quickly now but please understand that with a new team, they are still feeling their way around the code so they are moving very carefully.
Please understand that coding is a very tricky business and when you fix something it might interact differently with another thing and bust something else. Given the investments we make in the game – that is definitely not a good thing.
There are also holidays coming up in Korea so there are some priorities that have to be gotten out of the way before they go on a vacation.
Many things are also in the works in LUG, but please understand that with the immensity of the project of LU Live! (Where much sleep is lost and people have gained/lost weight due to the stress.) They will be tested after the event and of course be released after.
Now for the topics:
BUGS:

Friend List – This has been submitted to Gravity as soon as it was detected. This is being followed up every week and appears to be a simple fix. This has been an expected patch ever since but given how carefully the development team is moving it might take a while.
Portal Bug – Another bug that has been reported for quite some time and is being worked on right now. Please also see the friend list bug.
Players/Mobs Freezing – This is when you are walking or attacking a mob and suddenly everything freezes (usually when we stand next to a portal). Suddenly you find out that either the monsters are already dead or else you are. We’re not sure this is really a bug. The current workaround is to move slightly. This might be delays and conflicts in signals between the server and the client.
Auto-Reload Bug – The bullets displayed are bugged. Just like the freezing item this most likely is due to delays and conflicts in signals between server and client. Both are being investigated and tested.
Oblivion Bug – This is also investigation, another server/client conflict.
Dealer Skill Bug (Merchandising) – Currently a critical bug that is on the top of the list for resolution.
Mystic Slash (Dual Type Raiders) – Another priority to fix. Current work around is to get Mystic Slash before Quick Style Slash.
Meat Shield (Summons) Leeching – Current Tests find that the leech rates of summons between muses and dealers are inconsistent. This is being reported to Gravity. If you have concrete evidence please do send some screenshots over.
Kiss Skill (and some other items) – Some of the awarded Mileage Items appear as blankly white. They are trying to restore it to its natural beauty. This will probably be resolved during the launch of the Item Mall (if not before).
Where are my EMOTICONS? – Some folks find it surprising we like to use them and they will be restored as soon as possible. (See friend list bug)
Crafting – Those crafts in question actually do work. Unfortunately, the requirements are not set properly or else the materials needed do not drop in the game. Some of them can be generated but have no names. Another priority.
Battle Parts for Carts Dropping – Currently a whole new spiffy set of cart related items are being brought up. Their interaction with the Battle Cart Parts have to be tested. They will come out together.
Backseats – We are unsure why they were removed and have not received any concrete update for them (See Battle Parts).
Item Stats – The tables have been switched around and restored with the old tables (for your existing items). We still have yet to get an update regarding the interaction with the prefixes. Even those that have BOLD stats are still inconsistent.
Advanced Job Items – Many of those really bugged aren’t supposed to be dropped yet. So they are not really stable.
Illusion Ghosts – They currently have blank drop tables for some strange reason.
Rare Bullets – They currently act like NORMAL bullets. They have yet to be updated.

UPDATES and SUGGESTIONS:
Potion Prices – This was investigated and tested in-house. Out of a few thousand random monsters killed several observations were made and agreed upon by those present. Zulie is much more common and comes in larger quantities. Easy drop make instant cash. Even potions themselves drop frequently especially when leveling in yellow monsters. Current monsters within the recommended level range hit less, critical less, and are generally easier to kill. Potions are easy enough to maintain the way they are. The new economy just takes a little getting used to.
Maps – They are currently focused on new maps for Eldeon. PVP Maps? Also likely to come out but we don’t have any word on it yet.
The Clan Wars – All the GM Team has are pictures and the name. No other information. They can infer from the shots that there looks to be a capture the flag element/event. Gravity has the habit of dropping surprises on the GM team. Usually, at 7am of Thursday just before maintenance. Given the fact that pROSE tends to get these things first they REALLY do come as a surprise. All the other countries take a peek and get their sneak previews from us.
Skill and Stat Resets – They are going to be tested in Tala. The old code used for these no longer work in Evolution. The code has this potential to corrupt your character. Right now you’re saying that my character is messed up because the skills and stats are a bit messed up… imagine if they get corrupted. They become absolutely useless. Gravity has already fixed this. So it will be tested and if it shows no signs of messing things up… it will be ported over to the commercial servers.
Garnets – There are no plans to change this gem to match the other gems in terms of statistics. With the loss of the Legend type items, replacements came by way of the Elven ones. They have natural dexterity. Game Balance issue.
Charm Scrolls – Note the stamina system has been removed. Advanced potions can take the place of these charm scrolls. But those that have dropped… where are they coming from? Please send us some screen evidence so we can clear this issue with Gravity.
Skills (dropped) – They are all currently in the game and they do drop. The trick is to find them. As for their locations… well… wink.gif
Unions/Factions/Updated Clans – The interface is already ready in the game and the actual implementation is in the works. The timeline is currently unsure because the original estimates for the patch have already not been followed.
Skill Cooldowns – Game Balance Issue. These skills are meant to give the character an edge only for a few seconds and are not meant to be used regularly.
Credit Card Facility/Item Mall: The credit card facility is due to be launched by the end of the month. That is the current target but with the upcoming holidays in Korea… the safest bet is 1st half October. The Item Mall will be launched right after the Credit Card Facility is live.
Episode Quests – They are already in development. Episodes 2 & 3 are already done in terms of development and are just awaiting testing and execution. They cover the Luna and Eldeon planet. The linked quests in Luna are stand alone complex quests. I hope you finished the one in Junon where Arua’s Fairy bugs the hell out of you.
Clan Fields – They are already in the game. There are no documents regarding their release as of yet.
Unique Skills – They exist. They don’t work as of yet. How will they be given out? It’s unsure as of yet. They seem to be twisted job skills that the other jobs can use.
Transformation Skills – They can’t even be generated yet.
Server Clock – There will be a clock on the website not on the servers. The code can be done easily on the website but for server clocks it would have to be a development and if ever would take quite a while.
Multiple Access Times for the Clan Fields – This has been suggested to Gravity way back and they do not want to change this.
Storage 3rd Page – It really is meant to have that much storage. Gravity does not want to touch it as of yet.
New Back Items – They are mileage items.
Raiders Stun Skill – There are currently no plans for making a Raider Skill with stun. Game balance and they do have other defensive methods. (A whole lot of us in the room were Raiders – poor Bele was the only knight).
Carts in the Temple – It’s a dungeon map. There will be no carts. Also once the bugs are fixed moving around will not be so cumbersome.
Rares and Bosses and Normal Monsters – Evolution was made with something in mind. Unfortunately, even we (including LUG) are not really sure what that is. Just as the economy was changed drastically with potions and money all over the place, the way drops (and refining materials) for that matter were moved around has some sick sense of logic. We’re just not getting it yet.
Will the Europeans have Access to Sirius? – This is still under discussion. Currently, not for the time being... In Europe they had Polaris so they were moved to Polaris. With everything so unstable right now, it would not be wise to overly tweak with our systems.
Stat Tables on New Item Drops – They don’t look to be bugged. We’re unsure if this is a feature to fit in the new way of playing ROSE or another bug. (See Rares and Bosses and Normal Monsters).
Pets – This has been a suggestion for some time but the capsules that make these pets are currently buggy and interfere with the summoning system for muses and dealers.
Dealer Crafting Success Rates – No experience really, but they still depend on CON. Let’s see when we can craft gems again how this will come out.
Party Leadership Move Function – Deliberately removed by Gravity. They (Gravity) are still seriously astonished with the things we think of. They DON’T want passing around or selling of level 50 parties. It can still be done mind you but you have to do it the hard way.
This deals with questions and comments regaring the policies and community roles and events. rolleyes.gif
POLICY and COMMUNITY:
The Kill Steal Policy – Given the way that the policy is reported and enforced, it is prone to much error. The principle behind the policy remains but the way that many players can actually scam during reporting puts even the well behaved on the banned list. The lines for kill stealing have been blurred. You may see people using monster trains to level and not leave anything for the weaker person, which in essence is not fair to the lower leveled one. For now reports of such will only be entertained if there is video evidence. Here are some workarounds.
a) Report spot taking – It’s similar to harassment 10 days
cool.gif Report inappropriate language – If it is not directed specifically (by syntax to you) that’s 5 days (if directed to you, it’s harassment so 10 days)
c) Compounded Harassment – 10 Days
Another development in these terms is the first hit code. LU is currently confirming the rules of the first hit code and improving it with Gravity so that your kill stealer gets less of a benefit from whatever they do to the beastie.
Drops in the Temple and Moon Child Areas – Gravity said that one of the reasons the whole place was designed that way was to invite a sense of conflict with players. MMORPGs are all about interaction. It’s great if we can develop the house rules once again and stick by them. So children… behave.
Provincial Events – While key cities and areas are populated, there has always been a problem with attendance in these areas. Right now there are plans to address this right now and with that a coming event. Please wait up after Live.
Spawn Point Vending – When the buying stops the connection killing does too. But seriously, it’s a matter of empowerment. Be reminded that many people prefer it near the storage for several reasons.
a) The Bank is there – at times when we run to get money and run back at times the shop is closed or some other nut already got it.
cool.gif Many people leave their materials in storage as well and running back and forth is cumbersome.
GM Made Events/Mini Events – A Storyboard is already made. There will be testing on it before porting it over to the server. GM Destiny has already made a lot of mini-events and GM Phage will be testing them in TALA and if they work. Expect them in Polaris and Sirius right after. Please note this will be tested after Level Up Live!
Level Up LIVE! – The Castle Gear prize will not push through because Gravity does not want them to come out. They have the potential to wreck your character in the database. The prizes this time will be the Rolls Royce (in the color of your choice) or Meister Frame along with an entirely new set of cart parts.

The Royal Court:
The Royal Court is the players’ representative to LUG and not the other way around. Currently there are volunteers who bring over the players wants and needs but the Royal Court can be used in a more formal manner to get these things through.
They can initiate and run community events (both IRL and In-Game) with the proper communication and support from the BUD. Communication channels have been given to them already. We can start this after Live.
