Ik heb vandaag de volgende mail gestuurd naar support@activision.co.uk. Als ik hier geen antwoord op krijg ga ik misschien maar eens juridische hulp zoeken.
L.S.,
Doom3 doesn't run on my system, it says i have CD-emulation software running. Removing that software is:
a) unwanted, i need that software on my computer, which has only one optical drive,
b) unneccesary, there's no reason why that software would interfere with the correct operation of Doom3.
The only reason it DOES interfere is because someone programmed Doom to check if people have that software. I'm not sure that that is entirely legal, it is of course totally up to my discretion what other software i use. If there where some kind of warning on the box it would be better, so people can choose right away not to buy this intrusive software and just download some cracked version from the internet. As you probably know the cracked version of Doom does not have this nasty problem, so i'm starting to wonder why i paid 60 euro's.
Anyway the software i bought doesn't work as advertised. I think i am entitled to either a solution or a refund for that, i shouldn't have to pay for stuff that intrudes on my privacy only to come to a grinding halt after that. I am really serious about this, and i hope you people have the decency to (finally) reply to my complaint. Please correct my if i'm wrong, otherwise give my money's worth or a refund! I WILL NOT accept the current situation, and i think consumer law is on my side.
Sincerely,
Kijken of het helpt..
