The year is 2630 AD. Galaxis has fallen into the clutches of four races that conspire towards total domination.
You have just established a small colony and purchased your first ship. Stuck in the maelstrom of war, you dream that one day you can lead your people to galactic conquest.
Seven centuries prior to the Great War, humans were in sole guardianship of their galaxy and home-world of Earth. But their greed, the worst enemy they have ever known, consumed them. A well known idealist, William Cyndel, was one of the first to propose the idea of galactic expansion. Unfortunately, many people did not agree.
Cyndel was shut out by those that he thought were close to him, and branded as 'crazy'. Though hated by many, there were some who believed in him. Throughout the course of a year, he had gathered all those willing, and planned to steal a federation carrier and escape the doomed civilization to a newly discovered system.
Unfortunately for Cyndel, his plans ended abruptly and in a total failure. He, and his 1,200 followers, were arrested and later banished from Earth itself. They were sentenced to life without the possibility of return, at a mining facility over 200 light years away, which would take roughly 8 years to reach.
Three years later, an observation outpost received a message that the cruiser carrying the exiles had been badly damaged by some unknown force, and was crashing towards an uncharted planet, some 340 light years off course. The party was never heard of again. When news reached Earth, no search parties or attempts were made to save or find the survivors. The populace was furious. People revolted against their governments and waged open war; it was the beginning of the third World War. This lasted a total of 19 years, and wrecked so much havoc that the planet itself had become uninhabitable. Nearly 18 billion people lost their lives. The survivors, put aside their differences and left their ancestral home, and wandered into what later became know as... Galaxis.

What is Galaxis Online?
Galaxis Online is an new completely free massive multiplayer "turn-based" online game that crosses many different genres of games. You have the option to play different styles from a merchant trader to a murderous pirate. Each player works to strategically upgrade and build their colonies, create alliances, and make their fortune in a fight for power.
In the ever-expanding online world of Galaxis filled with systems, planets, and colonies controled by a countless number of different players you are guaranteed to experience a whole new level of gameplay.

# All platform (Windows, MacOS, Linux, Unix, etc.)
# Any Major Web Browser (Internet Explorer 5.0+, Safari, Mozilla, etc.)
# 56.6 kbps Internet Connection or higher.
Humans
The human race, shattered by near complete self-annihilation, has since come to a greater understanding of a peaceful, working existence. They now rebuild an empire, working together for the best for all humankind.
# The Human race receives an extra mining/production and other advantages.
Vorrid
With lifestyles based on complete discipline the Vorrid race consists of a very sophisticated and intelligent existence. They are constantly engaged in tactical or strategic planning to protect their way of life.
# The Vorrid race receives an extra defense and other advantages.
Cadien
The Cadien race strives to carry out activities in the most efficient way possible. They demonstrate their power through precision craftsmanship and organization in everything they do.
# The Cadien receives an extra building/upgrade and other advantages.
Cyndel
Due to the rapid expansion of super-power empires the Cyndel race was forced to make room. Fueled by their rage for revenge they're widely known to have more aggressive natures and usually engage in pirate-like activities.
# The Cyndel race receives an extra pillage and other advantages.
