Memtest moet ik nog uitvoeren, maar hij pakte het zonder problemen en de NAS draait als normaal. In resource monitor heeft hij nu ook 6GB geheugen.

Hier ook eenzelfde reepje besteld. De M471A5244CB0-CTD, werk gelijk perfect. Geen melding van Synology over alternatief geheugen op de 720+

Ik had met het vorige reepje een RMA gedaan en een nieuwe gekregen. Zelfde type.

En het heeft even geduurd, maar het Office pakket wilde niet meer starten. Synology ingeschakeld en die geven aan dat er een mem-dump is geweest en geven aan dat ik memtests moet doen.
Het extra reepje er gelijk uit gehaald en die gaat er niet meer in terug. Hopelijk heeft het ingebouwde geheugen geen issue.

edit: Hij start gelukkig gewoon op (wel erg traag met maar 2gb...). Nu memtest aan het uitvoeren en gelijk een 16gb reepje besteld. DIe hier in dit topic meerdere malen wordt gebruikt in een x20+.
Dat gaat dan waarschijnlijk wel goed
