Awesome! Gyms werken ook als Pokéstop. Gek eigenlijk dat dat nog niet zo was, right?
Gyms are no longer based on Prestige and training. Instead, they now feature six permanent slots that can be filled by the controlling team’s Pokémon. Each Pokémon assigned to these slots must be unique. For example, only one Blissey can be assigned to a Gym at a time.
Tof, niemand zit te wachten op 10 Gyrados. En 10 Blissey is ook een beetje overdreven.
Maar er kunnen nu dus nog maar 6 spelers in een gym? Voor Niantic logisch: minder gratis muntjes uitdelen == meer mensen die shit kopen. Maar 6 is wel weinig
Pokémon assigned to defend a Gym lose motivation over time and as they are defeated in battle. As a Pokémon loses motivation, its CP will temporarily decrease, making it easier for opposing teams to defeat.
Oke, dus prestige is eigenlijk gewoon renamed naar motivation, en dat heeft nu ook gevolg voor de CP.
In plaats van trainen voor de next spot moet je ze nu berries voeren. Die pleur ik toch altijd weg dus prima. Het maakt het makkelijker voor lage levels om erbij te komen.
If a Pokémon loses all motivation, it will leave the Gym and return to its Trainer the next time it loses a battle
Dus afgelegen gyms kan je blijven behouden, als niemand ze aanvalt ben je good to go.
Maarehh... hoe zit dit met volle gyms en shavers? Dat is dus niet opgelost. Het is nu puur 'wie het eerst komt, wie het eerst maalt', en als je daar buiten valt en een andere kleur doet niks met je gym, dan kom je er nooit meer bij. Tenzij je gaat shaven, maar als ik het goed begrijp gaat dat dus 'ten koste' van de motivation van alle gym Poké's?

Leuk dat ik een zeldzame Raid Boss mag aanvallen, maar daardoor raak ik dus mijn spot in een gym kwijt. Mijn gymspot kan dus altijd worden ingenomen als Niantic besluit een Raid uit te voeren?

En ik mag dus ook maar 1 gym 'terugveroveren' als dit gebeurd?! Tenzij ik meer Raid Passes koop?
Sowieso is een Poké van 25.000cp (als ik de screenshots mag geloven) dus letterlijk onmogelijk te verslaan zonder samen te spelen. Ik speel regelmatig met andere spelers, maar ik weet ook dat er veel graag alleen spelen. Ik hoop dat het CP van de Poké afhankelijk is van het aantal deelnemers van de Raid.
En je kan dus uit twee verschillende teams samen een Raid Boss verslaan? Wat gebeurd er dan ná het verslaan van die boss?

En dat is mijn reden om PoGo te spelen. De lichaamsbeweging die ik ermee verricht. Dát is mijjn doel.
Pogo spelen is 'slechts' het middel voor het bereiken van dat doel. De muntjes zijn dan weer een 'bijproduct' van het in stand houden van die streak.
