CWM recovery guide freely translated by myself from an italian forum
1. Completely translated into english and working flawlessly, it’s including nandroid backup/restore
2. To begin with you need:
- Zte Drivers installed.
- Usb debugging activated in Z7 Mini (tap several times the build number under settings=>about phone in order to get developer status)
- insert your usb cable to telephone and to your PC
- Execute MS-DOS prompt command from your PC in windows being careful to be in the same directory into which you previously saved the recovery.img file
3. Instructions:
In order to test this recovery these are the steps you have to take:
1:reboot in bootloader
on your PC with the prompt ms-dos command activated be sure to be in the directory where you have downloaded your recovery.img file and type (without the inverted commas and respecting spacing):
“adb reboot bootloader”
The telephone will reboot and will remain fixed on the Nubia logo
2: test recovery before flashing
Type without inverted commas and respecting spacing: “fastboot -i 0x19D2 boot recovery.img”
The telephone will reboot after 4/5 seconds and will enter temporarily into the CWM recovery. With this you will be able to test the relevant functions
To go back to previous point press advanced menu, reboot bottloader
3: flash the recovery
Type without inverted commas and respecting spacing: “fastboot -i 0x19D2 flash recovery.img”, then
“fastboot -i 0x19D2 reboot”
Once the phone has rebboted type:
