Season 2:
- Nick shuffled it around to a whole bunch of different time slots, ending up in a really bad timeslot on Friday nights.
- They also pulled it off of Nick for a while and put it on Nicktoons, then put it back on Nick.
- At the very least, they were still advertising for Korra at this point (at least, I remember plenty of ads for the episode with Wan), and they had the episodes up online.
- Edit: There were also budget issues with the animation (they used a different studio for most of Season 2's episodes), and a lot of people who know more about artsy stuff than I do had a lot of issues with Season 2.
Season 3:
- They leak a bunch of episodes. Oops.
- Then they announce the airdate and release the trailer only one week before the air date.
- There are hardly any ads, and they don't release the episodes online.
- Then they start doubling up episodes every week. Still in the same bad timeslot.
- They make a point of saying "you can't watch this online or anywhere else."
- They go back to one a week, I think without any announcement.
- They pull all episodes after this Friday with no notice and no explanation, leaving the creators to take to social media to assure their feeaked-out fans that Korra hasn't been canceled.
- That part about "you can't watch this on line?" They lied. It's going to be exclusively on line now.
