Op mijn mailtje naar GR support gisteren net dit antwoord gekregen.........
"Hi
The servers will be down until the necessary repairs have been completed."
Daar schiet je dus niet veel mee op.
Van de ISP van gamesrouter een echt antwoord gekregen (kijk zo hoort het zou ik zeggen).
"Hi Jan,
This email has been passed to me to answer, simply as we would not normally
divulge information on our customers, but under the circumstances I feel it
is appropriate.
I can understand the frustration that you and other players of Rose are
feeling at the moment, but I can assure you that, to the best of my
knowledge what GR have told you is correct.
Last week they started noticing problems in terms of server lag and slow web
sites, this was eventually determined to be caused by an issue on their
hardware, which we do indeed host in our data centre.
At the weekend we were able to put together a temporary solution, and
without going in to all the technical details, we were able to keep this
going until Monday, a little longer, in all honesty, than we first
anticipated being able to do.
From my understanding of the situation at present, they are currently
waiting on a key component being put back in place, which I know they are
hoping will be very shortly and hope to have the game back on later today.
Our involvement in fixing the problem is very limited with our main service
being the provision the internet connectivity itself (generally what an ISP
does), and not the management of the game or the software.
I hope this helps with your understanding of the situation, as I am sure you
can appreciate there is only so much information we can reveal for security
and of course confidentiality reasons, but at the very least this should
help you with the information already released by GR.
Should you have any friends within the game who have similar concerns you
are welcome to forward this email to them.
