Upgrade manual for version FW_050118:
After the upgrading your player with this firmware you have to go over this procedure:
- you have to execture factory reset (Preferences/Load factory Setting/Reset)
- then go to MPEG4 Subtitle Page and set all setting again, no matter if desired setting is already selected (for example, if the Font Color is selected as White, and you want for fonts to be white, move to Font Color and select the White again and confirm; now this new corect option is written to eeprom, which was till now empty, because this option was never used before)
- you have to do this second procedure (confirm every setting again) for all the other settings on the MPEG4 Subtitle Page (outline color, font color, background color,....). After this new setting will be corectly writen to your player.
* You can have jerky and freezing video if you do not apply all the new settings again.

Upgrade manual for version V1 and V2:
After the upgrading your player with this firmware you have to go over this procedure:
- you have to execture factory reset (Preferences/Load factory Setting/Reset)
- then go to MPEG4 Subtitle Page and set all setting again, no matter if desired setting is already selected (for example, if the Font Color is selected as White, and you want for fonts to be white, move to Font Color and select the White again and confirm; now this new corect option is written to eeprom, which was till now empty, because this option was never used before)

Settings for subtitle position: the most suitable settings for the Y and X position of the fonts are next:
Y-Position = +82
X-Position = +64
X-Size = +92
Info for the users of subtitle programs CenterSub and DirectSub on subtitle placement calculation: the value of pixels for subtitles should be calculated as X-Size+512 (for default setting this would be 92+512=604)
V1: download fw iso
- version V1 is evlution of original V1 version from yamada
- no problems with Packet bitstream encoded avi's
- no xvid+ac3 problem with dissapearing subtitles
V2: download fw iso
- version V2 is evolution of original V2 version from yamada
- slovenian characters supported
