All of the information I have gathered indicates that it doesn't have any
functionality for the end user. I believe that it was placed on there for
internal testing purposes. I am still researching it and will post
something later if it has any additional functionality.

It took me a couple of days for me to find this but I finally did. Here
are the pin-outs of the CT4830
Pin Function for JP1

1 SPDIFOUT1 (AC-3 Spdif, depends if there is software support)

2 Output

3 SPDIFOUT3 (Rear Channel)

Vreemd verhaal dus, maar ik vermoed dat je er alsnog vrij weinig mee kunt, anders zou het wel ergens aan gegeven zijn lijkt me. Misschien niet in de manual, maar anders wel vanuit de support van creative of andere bronnen op internet.

Misschien vind je hier nog wat tussen.

Zoals ik dat lees lijkt het me een switch voor de digitale uitgang, zodat je kan schakelen tussen front/ac3 naar digitaal of achter uitgang naar digitaal.

Bij mij op mijn value zit ie trouwens niet

Dus de spdif out heeft als middelste pootje van de minijack standaard spidif 3 rear channels.
Als de jumper op 1 komt staat spdif op spdif 1 op het middelste pootje en die is afhankelijk van wat er software matig is ingesteld.
