[Opmerkingen over netwerkscans]
[Probleemoplossing]

2. Als het NETBIOS-bericht "ncb_bridge field not 00 or 01" verschijnt, moet u
Network Scanner Server
The Network Scan Server allows you to activate and make a network scanner available to all network users who have a valid network identity and have VistaScan installed on their computers.
NOTE: Before you start Network Scan Server, be sure you have already successfully installed VistaScan on local (or server) and remote (or client) computers in the network.
For the computer that is physically connected to a scanner
To start Network Scan Server, double-click the Network Scan Server icon in the UMAX program group. A minimized Network Scan Server icon appears with a Scanner Share ID in it.
After starting the Network Scan Server and powering up the scanner, any remote network user, who has a network ID name, can now have access to the scanner. If no remote users are currently connected to the scanner, the Network Scan Server appears as a minimized icon on the local user's screen. Whenever a remote user is connected to the scanner, the minimized icon will flash. Whenever a remote user is connected to the scanner and is actually scanning, the Remote Data Source dialog box appears with information about the remote user in it.

For the computer that shares the scanner over the network
After finishing the configuration of Network Scanner Manager, and starting the Network Scanner Server on the computer that is physically connected to a scanner (as stated above), you may now click Programs from the Start button on the task bar and select VistaScan icon from the VistaScan 3.0 program folder. You can use the scanner as if it were connected to your computer.
Network Scan Manager
The Network Scan Manager is a user interface for establishing and controlling VistaScan network scanning activities. In a network environment, one user (local user) has a scanner attached to his/her computer and the other users (remote users) in the network share the use of the scanner. This program allows a local user to share the use of the scanner with other (remote) network users. Remote users can use Network Scan Manager commands to establish network identities, and to connect to, or disconnect from the scanner.
