KT3(ARU) Tips Locked CPU any OS
1. Disable any onboard functions you dont use. Parallel and serial port.
2. Turn of the RAID function if you dont have any drives connected to it.
3. Use a add on sound card, like a SoundBlaster Live or Santa Cruz Turtle
4. You can load Performance Defaults to set max memory drive strengths(hidden option)
5. Use the fastest memory timings you can, HCLK+33,2,2,5,2,4,8,Enable,Ultra(see Unstable System below)
6. AGP mode auto, driving value auto, everything else disabled
7. AGP Aperture to 128MB or 256MB (They both give me the same performance on a ti4600)
8. Start with CPU FSB @ 133mhz then slowly move up 1mhz at a time, (see Higher FSB below)
KT3(ARU) Unlocked CPU any OS
1. If you unlocked your CPU you may not need any guide at all
2. Set the CPU multiplier for near the rated speed IE 2000+ 12.5x133=1667mhz set 10x166=1660mhz
3. Vcore to max 1.85v(your mileage may vary, if you know you dont need max dont set max)
4. See unstable system mini guide below, change memory settings in recommended order
5. 166/166 synchronous operation yields very nice results if you can run faster memory settings.
6. PCI bus will be 1/5 of the FSB and AGP will be 2x that PCI bus speed.
Higher FSB
1. Higher front side bus can damage weak hardware and can cause data corruption
2. To overclock FSB for CPU you need to increase Vcore to max available setting 1.85v
3. Change FSB 1mhz at a time, so you can find the unstable point.
4. If your system becomes unstable, move the FSB to a lower level.
5. Most locked CPUs will hit 140FSB, 145FSB if you have great cooling.
6. It is very rare for a stock board with air cooling to get into the 150FSB area with a lock CPU.
Unstable system mini guide (from max settings) HCLK+33,2,2,5,2,4,8,Enable,Ultra or fast(FastCommand is dependant on memory quality)
1. Move FSB down 1mhz at a time or change memory settings
2. FastCommand------------------Fast or Normal
3. SDram Burst Length-----------4QW
4. SDram 1T Command----------Disable
5. RAS Pulse Width----------------6T
6. RAS to CAS Delay--------------3T
7. Row Precharge Time------------3T
8. Bank Interleave-------------------2-way
9. SDram CAS Latency------------2.5
Hoe hoog krijgen jullie dit mooie rooie plankje?? En welke biossen zijn het best?
