registry problem

on a network of 20 computers, some of the clients crash after a while because the registry keeps on growing and growing. The clients only display a webpage all day long containing content varying from only html to html with flash and avi's embedded. There are no users making use of the clients, they function as a display unit.

Please can anyone tell my why the registry on some machines doesn't cause any problems while others keep on crashing because the registry gets too big...?
