Ik ben ergens achter gekkomen tijden het schrijven van mijn nieuwe flashtool!
voor de lezers onder ons...
found out after programming my new flashtool that the RV200 core already exists!
Yes the radeon 8500 uses the R200 core
and the radeon 7500 uses the RV200 core!!!
THIS MEANS IN PRINCIPLE THAT THE CORE OF THE RADEON 7500 IS THE SAME AS THOSE FROM THE RADEON 8500!!!
There could be still some differences though, like Intel did with the celerons and ATI with the Durons. But it could be also just a marketing trick ATI has done before, like on the OEM and retail confusion and older radeon versions etc. In this case the vertex en pixelchaders are just switched of by software (bios) and can be used again!
I like to know if someone with a radeon 7500 like to test a bios of the Radeon 8500 card on his card. I have a special version to test it, wich is lower clocked, but just good enogh to test it on his card. I have the correct program to do this ready for him!
Like those ATI guy's more and more....
