Beetje jammer dat veel mensen die de laatste update hebben geinstalleerd en The Haunted Mansion hebben gekocht nu het spel niet meer kunnen draaien vanwege een bug.

Beetje vreemd dat zoiets niet met een dag op te lossen is...

Klopt dat ben ik met je eens. maar het probleem is wel bij hun bekend in hun discord hebben ook al meerdere mensen dit probleem vermeldt dus hopelijk patchen ze het snel.

Het wordt dus opgelost door de aankoop van de Mansion in-game terug te draaien. Waarbij je dan eenmaal in het spel niet weer dat ding moet kopen.

Waarschijnlijk released Disney dreamlight valley 27 oktober want er staat een speciale editie van de game (Disney dreamlight valley cozy edition) met meerdere extra's, te releasen voor deze datum. Dus waarschijnlijk kunnen mensen hem dan ook gratis downloaden

Ik kijk uit naar de versie op iOS (iPad Pro). Die is vandaag van 5 naar 6 december gezet als verwachte datum. Ik ben heel benieuwd of het te spelen is op een tablet.

Het spel zal onderdeel zijn van Apple Arcade, zonder de microbetalingen. Ik ben heel benieuwd of het zo een leuk spel zal zijn. Wil dat eerst afwachten voor het op de pc te proberen. Zijn er meer mensen die het via Apple Arcade gaan spelen?

Ben vandaag ook even met de update en de dlc bezig geweest. Moet eerlijk zeggen dat ik aangenaam verrast ben door de dlc.

Ik heb dit spel lang niet meer gespeeld. Zojuist weer eens opgestart en ik hoef niet opnieuw te beginnen met update 1.0.

Ik zie dat de DLC toch wel "mixed" reviews krijgt. Ik zie vooral veel klagende mensen dat de DLC eigenlijk gratis zou zijn.

Alles staat er nog.



Mijn goudmijntje staat er ook nog. Tijd om meer wat geld te farmen. EDIT: Ook kwa prijzen is er niet veel verandert. Okra brengt nog altijd lekker veel op, dat beetje brengt me 55k op.

Nu dat ik wat reviews heb gelezen en mijn eigen ervaring, kan ik het ook wel begrijpen.

Mijn dochter speelt al heel lang de "gratis" versie van DreamLight op de Xbox via Game Pass Ultimate. Die is nog steeds speelbaar, ze kan ook de DLC kopen maar is wat huiverig omdat ze niet echt weet of (en hoe lang) dit spel via Game Pass speelbaar blijft.

Ze wil uiteraard haar progressie niet kwijt.

Dat je geen nieuwe deuren kan openen, komt omdat deze leeg zijn en dus nu nog niet beschikbaar zijn, die komen later pas beschikbaar. De volgende deur komt deze winter nog en is waarschijnlijk monsters inc. Ik zal de roadmap met content updates wel even opnieuw plaatsen. Ik weet niet hoeveel Moonstones je hebt en of je deze wilt besteden aan de 2 exclusieve quests. Maar voor wall-e en Ursula heb je dreambundle quests en deze kosten elk 4000 Moonstones. Misschien had je dit ook al gedaan.

0% eternity Isle kan kloppen als je de dlc niet hebt gekocht. 24% disney dreamlight valley is afhankelijk van bepaalde dieren (critters), gerechten, meubels, kleding en crafting items. Die je nog niet hebt gemaakt,verzameld of gekocht hebt. Daarnaast kan het zijn dat je bepaalde memories nog niet hebt gevonden. Maar all Areas houd in wat je over het hele spel hebt verzameld inclusief het dlc eiland dus en als je die niet hebt kun je het moeilijk compleet maken voor alle gebieden.

Hopelijk helpt mijn antwoord jou een beetje met alle vragen.

Ik vind hem prima te spelen op de Switch. laadtijden zijn imho minder dan bij Animal Crossing, hoewel ja natuurlijk altijd een laadtijd hebt als je van de ene realm naar de andere gaat, of van gebied naar gebied.
Maar dit is echt een heerlijk relaxed spelletje... ik vind hem mooi gemaakt (maar ja, Disney fan) en je moet mij niet te moeilijke opdrachten geven in games.

Ook als handheld op de bank is hij goed te spelen, hoewel ik soms de leesbril er even bij op moet zetten ivm de teksten

Ja er zitten twee jack Skellington moet Unlocken door een quest genaamd "Something Comes A'Knocking," te doen en de fairy Godmother unlock je door eerst een quest genaamd The Great Blizzard met olaf te completen.

Nee ik heb het al heeel lang niet meer aangeraakt.
Als ik zo'n lifesim/farm game speel is het tegenwoordig elke keer Palia, is een soortgelijke game enigsinds maar dan online en Free to play.

De disney figuren hebben uiteraard wel wat in dreamlight valley. Maar ik ben meer een online gamer dus vind dat heel tof aan Palia

Ik heb het maanden laten liggen, maar sinds een week of 3 speel ik het weer. Blijft een vermakelijk spel. Ik vind al die missies gewoon leuk om te doen, al dat decoraten is niet zo aan mij besteed. Nu eindelijk de Forgotten Lands kunnen openen, dus zijn de pompoenen beschikbaar voor me. 😎

Ow en ik speel het zowel op de Xbox, als laptop als Steam Deck (stream). Gewoon lekker om even tussendoor wat te farmen.

Je kunt zeker nog instappen, het blijft een vermakelijke game. Enige wat ze zult missen zijn bijvoorbeeld sommige cosmetische items en spullen uit events (al komen sommige events wel elk jaar terug waardoor deze dan wel te behalen zijn). Onlangs zelf nog overnieuw begonnen, is prima te doen.

En hoop cosmetisch spullen komen nog regelmatig in de moonstone shops. Krijg hier inderdaad de bevestiging dat nu beginnen met het spel prima te doen is. Daardoor juist wel gelijk veel leuks te doen!

Laatste update is weer vermakelijk. Nu Alice en de kat in de Valley. Ook de star path is weer leuk om te doen en makkelijker dan die van Alladin. Ik vermaak me er prima mee.

Ik ga het spel oppakken, maar het spel reageert heel traag waardoor het niet speelbaar is voor mij.
Ik speel dit vooral op mijn laptop met de volgende systeemvereisten:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.21 GHz
Geïnstalleerd RAM-geheugen 16,0 GB (15,8 GB beschikbaar)
Type systeem 64-bits besturingssysteem, x64-processor

Dus voldoet aan de systeemvereisten.

Wat kan ik nog meer doen om het spel weer speelbaar te maken?

Sinds een dag of 2 begonnen met het spelen van dreamlight valley via Apple Arcade. Ziet er allemaal prachtig uit maar is wel erg overweldigend met alle quests en dergelijke als nieuwe speler. Heeft iemand tips wat je het beste kan doen?

Goede vraag, zal mijn dochter vragen wat haar idee daar over is.

Haar antwoord:

Mijn tip is om gewoon te beginnen met verzamelen en verkennen in de main valley. En als je al een paar characters hebt, neem er dan een mee via de "hang out"-functie. Zo verhoog je ook hun friendshiplevel.

Dingen zoals de teleporteerputten, Goofys stalls, Scrooge's winkel en Remy's restaurant maken het allemaal ook makkelijker verder in de game. Dus probeer je eerst op die dingen te concentreren.

Wat ook handig is, zijn de dagelijkse quests, waar je snel en makkelijk Dreamlight kan krijgen. Dat heb je nodig.

Discover a refreshed Star Path experience with new weekly Routine Duties, creative task types, and more rewarding progression designed to give you something fresh to do every week!

Updates to Duties from the current system

Character-specific duties have temporarily been removed (except Joy and Sadness).
You will no longer be required to complete Duties for previously released characters you have not yet unlocked.
The initial selection of Duties on day one of the event provides enough Tokens to unlock all Rewards of the Star Path on the regular track. (Non-Premium Star Path players must complete the currently active Routine Duties to earn Bonus Rewards, unlocking the next set as they go. Premium Star Path players can complete all released Routine Duties in any order to access Bonus Rewards.)
Routine Duties earn Tokens that contribute to unlocking Star Path Bonus Rewards.
Memory Orbs related Duties have been significantly reduced.
Restaurant-related duties have temporarily been removed.
Duties that require players to craft Training Manuals have been removed.
Previous Duties that were limited to a specific number of times per day and required multiple days to complete, have been removed.
New Routine Duties

New Routine Duties unlocked each Wednesday for 5 consecutive weeks (depending on the length of the Star Path, this may vary in the future).
New Duty Types may appear in both Regular Duties and Routine Duties – In Emotional Rescue, there will be Photo Gallery (see details below) and Companion interaction related Duties.
Routine Duties earn you Tokens that can be spent on Star Path and Bonus Rewards. Completing all Routine Duties ensures you unlock every reward in both tracks.
Completing all weekly Routine Duties unlocks the following week’s Routine Duties.
If one jumps into the Star Path at a later date, they will need to complete the Routine Duties in the order they were released but will be able to catch up to that given week’s live Routine Duties.
Premium Star Path allows for progress on all Routine Duties that have been released (linear path no longer required).
If one jumps into the Premium Star Path at a later date, they will be able to complete all the released Routine Duties, in whatever order they choose, in order to catch up to that given week’s live Routine Duties.
Star Path end time and grace period

The active Duty period has been increased by 5 days for all players!
The Grace period, where you can only trade and purchase additional Star Path Tokens, has been reduced and now lasts 48 hours.

DECORATING
Fence Improvements: Last update we enhanced your creative freedom by allowing for the ability to place diagonal paths, and now we’re updating Fences! Seamlessly switch from “Line” to “Diagonal” fence modes for even more flexible designs and unique builds!
More Floating Islands: Owners of Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time will also have additional Floating Islands, each themed after their Biome counterpart and purchasable with Mist.
Player House Improvements: Flex your interior decorator muscles with new customizable ceilings! Similar to how floors are decorated, choose from a series of assets to give your Player House a more unique look.
Placing Large Items: It is now easier to target specific locations when placing large items in Edit Mode.

More Companions: Players will now be able to equip TWO companions with them! All companion bonuses like extra inventory space and additional resource drops stack, and both companions gain experience simultaneously, helping level up your roster faster.
Assign Companions: Players will now also be able to assign certain animal companions to Villagers!

Stalls Accessibility: Certain stalls will become placeable in new Biomes across our expansion passes: Aladdin’s Gem Stall, The Beast’s Greenhouse, Kristoff’s Stall, Mulan’s Tea Stall, Tiana’s Meal Stall, Moana’s Fishing Boat, and WALL·E’s Garden.
Once placed, these stalls will not be removable.

Nou moe, dankzij de update kan ik niet meer spelen op m’n iPad, hij was al officieel niet ondersteund maar je kon het nog gewoon spelen. Je kreeg alleen een waarschuwing bij het eerste keer downloaden, regelmatige crashes en batterij die snel leeg liep en het apparaat werd vrij warm. Kan nu nog wel spelen op m’n iPhone maar ja dat is ook niet echt prettig. Wellicht een Apple TV aanschaffen of iets dergelijks

Maar ook weer niet. Ze is zes jaar oud. Helaas ook niet in het Nederlands, dus ik heb het idee dat ik er constant bij moet wezen om alles uit te leggen.

Ik ga er vanuit dat ik dan ook helemaal opnieuw moet gaan beginnen, klopt dat? Of kun je op een of andere manier je progress overzetten?

Nee, hoeft niet. Je kan via cross save gewoon verder waar je gebleven was. Wel moet je de desbetreffende DLCs ook opnieuw aanschaffen als je die hebt op de switch

Gameloft heeft de nieuwe gratis update A Hero’s Journey onthuld.
Deze update introduceert een nieuw Realm, Hercules en Phil, nieuwe events, verbeteringen en een flinke lijst bugfixes.

• Nieuw Hercules Realm op Phil’s trainingseiland, verduisterd door de Realmweaver
• Help Hercules en Phil om het eiland te herstellen en nodig ze daarna uit in je Valley
• Nieuwe Friendship Quests en beloningen voor beide personages
• Godly Glamor Star Path met o.a. Mythical Cloud Glider, Pink Baby Pegasus, Hercules’ Divine Glow Dream Style en Olympian Cloud Mansion House Style
• Dreamlight Parks Fest Event: 10 t/m 30 juni
• Picture Pursuit Event: 15 t/m 28 juli, met dagelijkse foto‑quests en exclusieve Photo Mode frame
• Premium Shop vernieuwd met Hercules‑bundle, Gilded Agora, Grecian Villa House Style en nieuwe puppy‑companion
• Cozy Companion Rajah Bundle met unieke interacties, Photo Mode poses en Tiger Cub

• Mirage‑placeholders voor ontbrekende items, direct te craften of te kopen

Olaf’s Grand Exhibition
• Twee nieuwe kamers: Forest of Valor en Glade of Trust
• Transparantie‑indicatoren, itemnamen in de beschrijving en verbeterde tracking
• Onuitgebrachte kamers tonen nu “Coming Soon”

Photo Mode
• Villagers vrij positioneren, animaties kiezen en pauzeren
• Verbeterde long‑range/free camera

Overig
• Level cap verhoogd van 40 naar 50
• Aangepaste schema’s voor zeldzame critters (meerdere varianten nu “All Day”)
• Verbeterde spawn‑logica voor nieuwe items in Scrooge’s Store
