We have here in our house, two AMD machines, both custom built to my specs.. (^_^)

AMD Athlon T-Bird 850e with Super MiniOrb on an MSI K7T Turbo (256mb RAM)
AMD Duron 750 with Chrome Orb on an MSI K7T Pro 2-A (160mb RAM)

I have noticed on fresh installs of both 98 and 2000, that my 750 Duron outperforms the 850... I don't know how, and I don't know why... But I have seen it even moreso, on a machine that I just built as well, an Athlon T-Bird 900e, on the MSI K7T 266Turbo board. Whay and or how does my Duron 750 outperform the Athlons that are clocked much higher? Did I get the good processor of the bunch or something???

I'am lost in space!!

It's probebly that the configuration off the 750, is better than the 850.

Why don't you run a benchmark program and find out for sure.

ps. this a DUTCH site, so next time post a question in dutch so other also can read and reply your answer.
