Ik heb dit geheugen besteld maar nu had ik gelezen dat de VIA KT133 Chipset helemaal geen ECC ondersteund. Gelukkig heb ik nog niet betaald. Zijn er wel chipsets voor de AMD TB & Duron die dit wel ondersteunen ? En kan iemand mij misschien uitleggen wat REGISTERED precies is ?
Gelukkig heb ik nog wel een BX plankje liggen dat wel ECC reepjes ondersteund, alhoewel ik er niet helemaal zeker van ben of ie wel 256 modules ondersteund ipv van 128.
Do the KT7 and KT7-RAID support ECC memory modules? If I plug ECC memory into the KT7 or KT7-RAID, will the system be able to POST?
The VIA KT133 chipset doesn't support ECC functionality. ECC memory modules can be used on the KT7 or KT7-RAID, but the ECC function is automatically disabled.
