Hallo to all, i am sorry i am writing in English but i was looking for some help in the internet and the only similar topics i found about my problem is your forum. I have already tried Google translate so i can translare the topics i found from Dutch to English or Greek but if you ever tried Google translate you would know that it is very confusing when it's translating a webpage and does not have any meaning.

So I understand that your are doing a very good job already with some hardware mods and I would like if some one could to assist me with some topics i found here over the tweakers.net

My problem is that i have an EPIA M1000G LVDS motherboard and i am trying to connect and old 11.3" SHARP LCD from a Toshiba 110CS laptop i had in my basement and wanted to build with these stuff a similar computer like the HP All-In-One Series

The module i need for my epia motherboard "LVDS-05" is no more available for sale, as i searched all over the internet and found nothing IN STOCK. So i should forget the fact that my motherboard has LVDS on it.

So i came up with the idea that i will connect directly my screen to the motherboard, but then another problem came out, because the screen i have has a 40pin cable that was original connected to my laptop motherboard, but i cannot find any datasheets for the diagram, to what cable is what.

The SHARP screen is a VF0166P01 / LM80C219 model SVGA, colour 11,3" STN LCD

The reason i came in your forum are the topics below, but couldn't get a clew what they are talking about:

Laptop LCD aan VGA-kaart
Laptop LCD aan VGA-kaart
Animocheck: Controller voor LCD's

I hope this project will rise again, as at this point is shinking...

Thank your for your time and greetings from Greece,
SpawNerGR

Sorry, I have to close your topic; this is a Dutch forum and unfortunately for you, creating topics isn't allowed if you don't speak Dutch. That's why I'll close this topic.

I'm the topic starter of the topics you link to, so I can give you a small piece of advice: Forget it. The LM80C219 is a LCD without a datasheet available, so we don't even know if it's LVDS or parallel. If you can't do LVDS and your display happened to be parallel, the topics you link to have an howto to connect
to a Vesa Feature Connector, which is an antique sort of connector which your motherboard probably doesn't have. Long story short: the chances of you building a working display/computer from only these parts are very, very slim.
