Ik heb nu deze versie draaien van The Solutor
TS rom V2b edition, based on 2.1update1 RTHS ROM (basically same features as v2, but fixed market, upgraded OS base, different baseband)
Should be safe to upgrade from v1 or v2 w/o wiping
Main features:
o fixed market problem present on V2
o RTHS Baseband (ATM seem good on the battery side)
o Euro_querty kb layout (€ and £ on the right place), default timezone Central Europe (Europe/Rome).
o New cam and camcorder apps
o Unlike the DACH rom, APNs are automagically configured on most western operator's networks, by default (not modded by me)
o Facebook Client
o 2.1 launcher with customizable number of screens (1 to 9), Live wallpaper enabled
o Both 2.1 Galleries (motogallery and gallery 3D)
o 2.1 Multitouch Maps with Navigation (the brut.all version v6) and navlauncher
o Motonav removed <--install the version you want or the navigation sw you like instead
o Enterprise Calendar and directory removed
o Email and Gmail removed K9 email is preinstalled.
o The crappy Motoalarm removed, and the fully working alarm app from nexus one installed
o Voice Commands preinstalled (Voice Search, Voice Dialer are still present)
o Sound recorder
o Cardock UI is present by default
o OTA can be disabled from the control panel
o Alternate dialer with smartdial function (as palmos, sonyericsson phones, WM6 and so on)
o 2.1 Live Wallpapers (lot of them are preinstalled others can be downloaded from the market)
o Nexus one's bootanimation
o Dalvik cache hack - puts Java interpretor cache on /cache (which is unused without OTA updates), freeing memory on /data for apps
o SDK 7 in build.prop by default.
o mountrw and mountro scripts in /system/xbin for mounting system rw and ro without typing as much
o YouTube defaults to High Quality even if connected trough 3G netwotks
o busybox and his symlinks are preinstalled in /system/xbin
o quickboot app/widget is preinstalled, for fast access to reboot/bootloader/recovery
o Wireless Tether (BT and WI-FI) app preinstalled
o Milestone USB theter app is preinstalled (my first compiled SW on android platform so let me know if something is wrong), Put the phone in"Portal & Tools" USB mode and configure manually the usb-lan card as follows: IP=192.168.16.1 GW and DNS 192.168.16.2
So try it and let me know if something is wrong, and if you like it
Note: Due to the very recent release of 2.1 rom, browser and video settings are untouched, I don't know if the old hacks are still useful on 2.1
Download nandroid
Download removed apps
Om de verwijderde apps weer te installeren ga je als volgt te werk:
Added a pack with the removed apps.
If You need one or more of them just download and unpack the file on the sdcard (/sdcard/rapps) and unmount SD from windows
Then just type (on adb or terminal)
su
mountrw
cd /sdcard/rapps
install file-name.apk /system/app
sync
mountro

)
Als iemand even een paar apps kan noemen die voorheen niet in de market te vinden waren dan zal ik even testen of ik deze wel kan vinden.
Aantal apps die ik probleemloos kon vinden waren:
Ear
Handsent SMS
Barcode scanner
Pricewatch scanner
Astro filemanager
Droid Armory
en nog een aantal...
