....... Er is expres niet gekozen voor de E8500, die voor bijna zeventig euro slechts 166MHz sneller is. Deze kloksnelheid is zelfs met standaard koeling makkelijk zelf te halen door de E8400 over te klokken.

Ik denk dat hier iets in de trend van "bijna zeventig euro meer/extra" behoort te staan.

Er nu staat dat er voor de E8400 gekozen is (a € 164,-) in plaats van de maar 166MHZ snellere E8500 (a € 70,-) .

Lijkt mij een niet geheel onbelangrijk detail dat de E8500 ongeveer 70 € meer kost. Nu staat er dat er voor de E8400 gekozen is omdat deze langzamer en duurder is

Zo was het inderdaad bedoeld, had me niet helemaal gerealiseerd dat het ook anders gelezen kon worden. Ik zal het zo even aanpassen.

Wat ik vreemd vind aan dat systeem is de koeler.
Ben zelf ook aan het zoeken en de Scythe Ninja blijkt beter te zijn.

INFINITY VS. NINJA

The obvious competitor for the Infinity is Scythe's own Ninja. Our test of the Ninja used a Nexus 120mm fan, which, as we showed above performs almost identically to the stock fan. Both the Infinity and the Ninja Plus come with the same stock fan, so this comparison can be used to judge between the two heatsinks in their stock form.

While both heatsinks are clearly excellent performers, a side by side comparison leaves no doubt that our Ninja sample is the better of the two — at least with low airflow. The difference is not great, but it is there.

Nevertheless, we should stress that these results apply specifically to low airflow situations that are of interest to silencers. It seems quite likely that the Infinity could reverse the standings if the two were tested with a noisy, high speed fan, as it would be helped by its larger size and the closely spaced fins around the heatpipes. [Editor's Note: It's also possible that our sample of the Ninja is unusually good. Recently, we've learned that sample variiance in heatpipe production is high enough to affect the actual cooling performance of many heatsinks.]

Keep in mind that on our hotter 775 test platform, the Ninja was recently edged by Thermalright's Ultra 120. This suggests that the Infinity would be surpassed in performance by the Ultra 120 as well.

Ik ben voor de Ninja aangezien die makkelijker te plaatsen is dan de Ultra 120 en beter werkt dan de Mugen.

Dat zou ik melden in [BBG] High-end gamesysteem maart 2008, dit forum is echt specifiek bedoeld voor fouten/opmerkingen over de frontpage. Het systeem dat in de BBG staat wordt in het hier gelinkte topic samengesteld.

Ach ja, dat is dan iets voor de volgende keer, nu nog onderdelen gaan vervangen lijkt me niet echt handig (tenzij de onderdelen die er nu in zitten natuurlijk gewoonweg niet werken, dan is het een ander verhaal).
