The company's lineup of 20 LCD TVs for 2007 is headlined by nine 1080p sets with full HD 1920 x 1080p display capability.
LG's 2007 LCD line includes five main series of LCD products offering a range of sizes from 20- to 57-inches:
LC7 Series: from 26- to 47-inches (the 47-inch unit is Full HD 1080p), featuring LG Simple Link, enhanced contrast ratio of 5,000:1 and advanced TruWide Viewing Angle technology.
LB4D Series: 32-, 37-, 42- and 47-inches, featuring TruMotion Drive (120Hz panel tech for clearer moving images), a third HDMI input and USB Media Host support of digital photos (JPEG) and music (MP3) playback. The 47LB4D features Full HD 1080p display resolution.
LB5D Series: 37-, 42-, 47- and 52-inch sets, all with Full HD 1080p resolution, USB Media Host and 3 HDMI inputs.
LY3D Series: 47-, 52- and 57-inch sets with Full HD 1080p resolution, TruMotion Drive and wide color gamut for the ultimate picture quality and viewing experience.
LS7D Series: 20- and 23-inch widescreen LCDs featuring ATSC/NTSC/QAM clear tuners.
All models 32-inches and larger feature improved performance at viewing angles up to 178 degrees via the new Super IPS panel with TruWide Viewing Angle technology, maintaining a more uniform contrast ratio with minimized color shift and distortion. Like its plasma sets, all '07 LG LCDs also support "LG Simple Link" connectivity, allowing users to connect other compatible LG components via HDMI cables and control them all easily and without switching via on-screen menus. Models 26-inches and larger include a minimum of two HDMI with HDCP inputs with step-up models adding a third input.
