Hello. This is Silkroad Online.
We have a manual patch which when applied may resolve the issue that some of you may be facing with DNS problems. Please click below to go to the page where you can download this patch.
Go to the Data Bank
If this manual patch does not work, please use the process listed below to assist us in assisting you.
In order to assist in the resolution of the issue that is affecting some of our users in regards to connection, we would like those of you with issues to post your IP address and DNS server information to the Bug Report subsection under the Customer Service tab. DO NOT POST THIS INFORMATION TO THE General Technical Issues/Bug Reports Forum! Doing so could compromise the security of your system.
The method to get this information is listed below:
1. Go to the Start button.
2. Select the Run menu selection.
3. You will get a text entry box. Type in 'cmd'.
4. One you are in the windows that opens, please type: 'ipconfig /all'
5. Either post the information that comes after the 'IP Address' and 'DNS Servers' section OR take a screenshot have it hosted on an image hosting site and post the link to it to our Bug Report section.
6. In addition, a trace route would also be of great assistance as well. In the same window in step 4, type 'tracert 121.128.133.26'. Please post the results in the same way as step 5.(Revised)
